Clear choice for our non-profit animal sanctuary and spay/neuter clinics
Comments: The implementation team was stellar in helping us switch from Avimark to ezyVet. The conversion team did an outstanding job with almost no involvement from us. All data was converted accurately. Again, because we are not the 'normal' type of customer for ezyVet, our implementation manager needed to find ways to handle many unique things that we required that would not be a requirement for a regular vet clinic. He was almost always able to come up with a great solution. We were very pleased. The support team is very responsive and very knowledgeable. Their ticketing system works well for our staff to input their question or concern and get the direction they need. Turnaround is good.
Pros:
We are a non-profit animal sanctuary and the majority of our medical services are provided to the approximately 1700 animals we have at the sanctuary at any given time. They are a wide variety of species and their services run the gamut of simple shelter medicine (vaccines, spay/neuter, simple meds) to very complex services (surgeries, hydrotherapy, alternative medicine, wildlife rehabilitation, etc.). We needed a solution flexible to handle all of these variations. ezyVet offered full functionality to manage care for all of our types of animals and types of customers, and was able to successfully report by these breakouts. We also rolled out ezyVet to our spay/neuter clinic which serves our animals, non-profits and public customers. The key things we were looking for when we selected ezyVet were: > System stability > System accessible from anywhere (cloud based) > Able to handle unique pricing of services for our animals, employees, non-profits, and public customers; pricing model also varied by type of product/service > Able to report expenses and revenue by categories of our animals, employees, non-profits and public customers > Able to use same software for both types of clinics > Incorporates whiteboard (integrated with SmartFlow) > Seamless integration with our lab, x-ray and ultrasound equipment and vendors > Significant paperless functionality > Management of clinic inventory > All data available via API ezyVet met all of our criteria.
Cons:
Since we are a non-profit, the standard reporting in ezyVet does not provide most of what we are looking for. We are pursuing bringing the data into our data warehouse via the API so we can create our own reports. Also, the learning curve was quite steep. ezyVet is not easy to learn for the less tech savvy staff. However, once they learned it, it has been fairly easy to use. We have used the client portal at our spay/neuter clinic. Because of our unique clientele of shelters and rescues having many animals per client, we have experienced problems with using the portal for viewing records but it has worked well for scheduling appointments. We are setting up the client portal for internal use at the sanctuary for scheduling appointments and getting answers to medical questions. We have experienced some limitations in the functionality to set up questions and answers.

Thank you for the awesome review, Dina! We're glad to hear that you and the Best Friends Animal Society team are happy with ezyVet. I'm about to pass on your feedback to our Support and Implementation teams, who will get a real kick from it. We appreciate that the complexity of our software can require some learning time so we have a really exciting new development in the pipeline, which will tackle this learning process. Watch this space! Sincerely The ezyVet team
The Best Veterinary Software System Out There
Comments: Overall I am impressed with this software since most Veterinary systems are geared toward general practice but EzyVet is able to customize for the use in the specialty environments. After a couple of weeks of staff training we went live and with very little issue and this factor alone was amazing compared to what we had gone through with a prior system change.
Pros:
1st Support - Quick response time to any inquiry or help with fixes. 2nd Customizable - Easy to set-up 3nd Ease of use - The only system that does work for Veterinary specialty hospitals
Cons:
1st - The document templates can be touchy and can be difficult to make documents look professional. Would prefer a more Word style system 2nd - The inability to set a minimum price for products
Don't buy in.
Comments: One of the worst companies I have dealt with in business. They are in it for the money. They knowingly lock you in to a contract that you can't get out of. Then they do not complete their portion of any work but if there is a delay it is all on the user. Once you finish implementation, you are on your own to just figure it out.
Pros:
The features they sold us on will be awesome if they worked. The ability to work between multiple sites. The ability to control inventory over multiple sites.
Cons:
There is absolutely no help in setting the software up. They charge ALOT of money for this phase, but it is all DYI. The implementers don't know their own software. No two people can tell you the same thing. Most of the time they contradict themselves. You have to learn how to set up the software and use the software on your own by watching videos. The videos don't match what the implementers say, nor do they match the quizzes in the training. It does not do what they say it will do.
Alternatives Considered: Rhapsody
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: We wanted to go to a cloud based software that would allow us to manage clients, patients and inventory in one place. We also wanted to bring reminders and our wellness plan into the system to alleviate issues that have developed with third party software.
Switched From: VIA
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: Monthly cost. But due to hidden fees, they probably ended up the same in cost. Also rhapsody had a third party doing reminders and the wellness plan.

Ezyvet works for mixed practice
Comments: I have had great experience with Ezyvet. When it is working it is excellent, when we find a glitch it works well.
Pros:
The colourful dashboard and ability to build the consulting schedule from the back end makes mixed practice easier. I can programme my vet time more efficiently because of the structures ezyvet delivers.
Cons:
I least like the inability to access some statistics easily, it can get quite complex trying to get the data i need out for practice management
Alternatives Considered: Cornerstone Software
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: wanted a cloud bases system which was easy to use. Ezyvet fit the bill
Switched From: RxWorks
Do yourself a favor and get EzyVet already
Comments: So glad I switched to EzyVet in 2018. They continue to improve.
Pros:
We joined EzyVet in 2018 before they merged with Idexx. It was well fleshed out in terms of features and actually was constantly improving (contrary to Idexx Neo!). I love the ability to create email and record templates that make my life easier. Integration with Idexx now has just improved things. I hope the awesome customer support continues with Idexx now owning them.
Cons:
Switching over, setting up and learning the new software took about 4 months, but then it was worth all the initial growing pains. Some people might say it’s expensive vs other softwares, but we all know you get what you pay for. If your vet hospital grows, that cheap software won’t likely be doing you favors down the road.
Best PMS. I wish I would have switched sooner.
Comments: Amazing. This company rocks and I hope they continue with there current model. This has the potential of being the bench mark software to compare all others.
Pros:
The customizability of the software in every aspect is amazing. You can get as creative or basic as you would like. I also like the autofill functions and snippets.
Cons:
I would like to see a better online portal, possibly through an app. People LOVE apps and the ability to access their records, medications, appointments, etc. for their pets (possibly even with notifications/reminders)
Alternatives Considered: Covetrus Avimark, Cornerstone Software, DVMAX Practice, IDEXX Neo and Digitail
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: Needed a cleaner more accessible software. Was looking for efficiency and ease of use.
Switched From: Covetrus Impromed
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: Functionality and efficiency. Integrations were amazing and the way we could customize it left little room for needing other third party software's (which saved in cost).
ezyVet
Comments: Overall, ezyVet was a great decision for the practice. It makes sense both medically and financially for the practice. It has increased accuracy and efficiency on both the medical and financial side of things. We are very happy we decided to switch to ezyVet for our PIMS.
Pros:
Overall, ezyVet is a well named software program. It is user friendly and has made our team much more efficient. Medical records are more throrough, we don't miss charges, and communication between departments is better. The templates make a world of difference. Using templates allows us to ensure our team is consistent with the information they are getting and giving. They have also expedited the process by creating habits. We have been able to increase our capacity to see animals both in appointments and surgeries as a results of increased efficiency.
Cons:
As stated previously, the scheduling can be a little difficult as you can accidentally schedule the same slot as someone else and you can't easily schedule from the patient's page. Vet Radar was a difficult transition from paper treatment sheets. It regularly improves, but still leaves some things to be desired.
Alternatives Considered: evetos
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: Impromed felt outdated and difficult to use. We wanted to go paper light and Impromed did not seem to be set up for that type of usage. We also wanted a cloud based software to allow remote access for our doctors and team.
Switched From: Covetrus Impromed
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: ezyVet seemed to align the most with what we were looking for in a software system. We are a 6 doctor practice. We need a robust system that can handle multiple docotors and several staff members.
Switching from Impromed is the best thing we've ever done as a clinic!
Comments: The ways in which this software is customizable is endless. I truly believe there isn't anything you can't do with this software. Updates every 2 weeks, and support actually listens to your requests so you aren't waiting for years for something that may never come.
Pros:
ezyVet is hands down the best change we've ever made as a clinic. We are able to be more efficient while being more in depth with our records. We never miss any diagnostics or finishing any charts. No charges are missed. Memos that stay out of the medical records, but reference back to them, are amazing for communication. Completely customizable to your every need. Having it be in the cloud instead of server based is so much better for our clinic. I would never go back to a server based product, even if you paid me. I seriously love this software so much that I offer to walk other clinics through it with screensharing so they can see how a "real" clinic uses it - and I do this on my own time, for free! ;)
Cons:
You need to give yourself the proper time for onboarding and implementation. We had a very smooth onboarding experience, but it is because we had 2-4 people working on it an average of 20 hours per week for 12 weeks leading up to launch. You get what you put in to it!
Alternatives Considered: Covetrus Pulse and Hippo Manager
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: Impromed was constantly freezing and it was slow. They told us we needed a new server, and the cost of bringing another server in wasn't worth it since the software was getting worse and worse. Plus, we knew going to the cloud was where we wanted to be to support work at home workflows.
Switched From: Covetrus Impromed
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: ezyVet blew me away with their demo. I didn't want to use eVet either because it was a Covetrus product and I had a terrible experience with Impromed, which was also purchased by Covetrus (in fact, Impromed started its drastic decline when it was purchased by Covetrus, before that it was decent software). eVet is now Pulse, but when I demo'ed it, it was still called eVet. I also looked at Hippo, but that software was nowhere near as robust as I needed for our large practice.

Best software for automating your practice!
Comments: Having the ability to manage client communication, recordkeeping, referring veterinarian communication, invoicing and practice managment all in an easy to use program has been critical to the function of my practice. Adding staff at some point may be an additional help but using ezyVet gives me the piece of mind and ability to run my business while offering the work/life balance that I need maintain my practice.
Pros:
The best part of ezyVet is how customizable it is to support your unique practice concerns. I am a solo practitioner and recently changed to a specialty practice specific to veterinary rehab, chiropractic, pain management and sports medicine. Given that my new pursuits do not require staffing to complete most of my visits, the use of ezyvet has allowed me to automate almost all of my front desk duties as well as administrative tasks such as practice accounting, end of day, marketing and client communication. My practice is also partly mobile, so the ability to be cloud based and take my system anywhere on any device has been critical to my function.
Cons:
The onboarding was a little challenging to coordinate due to my specific schedule but most of it was self guided and reasonable to work through. The image annotations are not currently included in a medical history print out which would be a welcome update for my type of practice. The few glitches that I have encountered have been more to do with the specific task not being configured correctly and were quickly found and fixed through a support ticket.

Powerful veterinary software that can take you to the next level
Comments: EzyVet allows us to communicate better with out clients, have the information we need at our fingertips weather on the road or in the clinic and keep seamless data with our accounting software.
Pros:
Ezyvet is one of the most powerful PMS I have used and it's constantly evolving to meet the needs of its users. Combined with its ease of navigation powerful reporting and portability (all you need is a internet connection) it would be hard to consider any of the other market options.
Cons:
The only downfall with ezyVet can be the shear size of it. Having made the switch to ezyVet 4 or so years ago and having overseen the implantation and maintenance I tend to forget just how much it can do (and dose) and for new users it can be a little overwhelming. That said very consistent formatting means that when learning a new section of the system everything feels familiar and our new users are normally up and running after a couple of shifts.

Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: The original SW was no longer meeting our needs both in terms of functionality and access.

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. We appreciate the feedback and great to see you are having a positive time with ezyVet. All the best, The ezyVet team
No more piles of charts on my desk!
Comments: We have captured a lot of "missed" charges with ezyVet and that is always a positive!!! It has also improved our efficiency and I no longer have days of unfinished charts on my desk. I enjoy the software and am happy.
Pros:
Overall I love the software, once we have customized it for what we need it helps myself and my team be more efficient, miss less charges, and have more detailed records. I am very pleased with the transition and feel that we made a great choice switching from IntraVet. I can easily access the software from anywhere, including my phone or tablet at home in a pinch and feel very comfortable with the security that they offer. We can easily email or text clients directly from the software, so it cuts down on time sucking procedures where we had to print items out, scan them and then email or fax to the client.
Cons:
I have very few pet peeves, the biggest being that there is no "minimum" pricing for medications. This is problematic for many of our injectable medications and we had to create a lot of extra codes based on weight classes for certain meds to make sure that pricing was fair for all weight ranges. There has been a feature request for this since before we changed software and I do not feel that it would be hard to implement.

Ezyvet and COVID changes
Comments:
The best answer to the problems we are solving due to Ezyvet is that we can now be proactive due to the data it provides and in the process get our clinic to meet or exceed in a positive manner industry benchmarks. It allows us to identify and focus on them.
Overall, Ezyvet seems to be an all encompassing program that has been very adaptable to our needs. Not only changing our dental programs, adding in desexing / vaccine clinics, but in being able to deal with the special needs of our location (we are in Guam, with internet/power issues, connectivity issues, poor wifi areas, 3 - 7 days for priority mail (no express mail services), and other issues of being far away from everything and everyone in a 2nd world situation.
WE WANTED A SUPPORTED SYSTEM AND WE HAVE RECIEVED MORE SUPPORT, RAPID SUPPORT, AND FOLLOWUP THAN EVER EXPECTED. This in our eyes makes them #1
Pros:
Ezyvet has dramatically changed our veterinary practice. I can go to the performance reports and get the data I need for any time period desired. This has allowed us to be pro-active in changes. Data revealed that our Dentistry services were severely underused and dental products not being sold. Recognizing this in actual data (as opposed to our erroneous belief) has resulted in a new push to dramatically increase our dental services. This is an ongoing update and we can monitor its success. And it is already successful. Covid however caused us to make changes significant changes to the flow and care of our patients. There are status flags that we basically ignored before COVID. However, we found them to be our major communication "device" as we changed our procedures once COVID happened. All staff could now see where the patient was - in regards to treatment/discharge/collection/etc.. Nothing new needed to be learned, the system was already set up for us to use. The change to using it was rapid, the learning curve was quick and done. This showed us how flexible Ezyvet is and how it can change with our needs. We additionally added in Vaccine clinics and spay and neuter clinics, mostly to ease the overload we have due to everyone being home and observing their pets (and spending their Govt issued money). Ezyvet allowed us to make specific prices for those days only, and track the data so that we could improve at the next clinic. Ezyvet is adaptable to our nee
Cons:
The tagging system is a bit complicated for me, but thank goodness for our hospital administrator and IT person. They fully understand it and use it well. Maybe I will get the hang of it - but since they are doing so well at it .................. However, my biggest complaint is that I write out an estimate for a client, send it to them (or whatever) and then rely on it for when the service is to be performed. However, I then have to write an entire new invoice when the procedure is performed. I do not understand why the estimate cannot be instantly converted into an active invoice - while maintaining the estimate in its original form. To me this is double work and frustratingly inefficient.
Alternatives Considered: Covetrus Avimark and Cornerstone Software
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: Poor support, poor data compilation, difficulty with flexibility.
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: They work with MAC products. Support and flexibility. Mostly support.

Great cloud-based veterinary practice management software
Comments: Very smooth implementation. We have monthly meetings with them and they even visit our hospital on occasion to make sure they’re addressing all of our pain points. All of their customer service are very friendly and helpful. Aside from the occasional extreme slowness, we’ve been very happy with ezyVet.
Pros:
I like that it’s intuitive, 100% cloud-based, has several integrations that we use daily and is constantly updating the functionality and ease of use. The reminder system and now added telemedicine functionality really set it apart. I also like that we can text clients and if they text back it goes directly into the clinical record. Several recommendations that we have suggested, they have implemented. I can also get a human being on the phone 24/7/365, which is unheard of for most EMRs. A+++
Cons:
Occasional slowness and the number of communications that can be sent cap out at about 1 per every 15 seconds. For a company of almost 300 people who send thousands of reminders per day, it can cause a significant delay. The inability to trend blood values is also disappointing. Our previous software allowed us to do it, but ezyVet can’t at this time. The reporting functionalist also leaves a lot to be desired, but they are working on improving that as well. You can’t data mine very easily. If a particular word is mentioned in a clinical record, there isn’t an easy way to find all of the records with that word unless you take the time to tag each record.

EzyVet Software
Comments: ezyVet staff is great! Super helpful. Implementation was good. Staff is knowledgeable
Pros:
We really like the referrals letter. The way they look, how we are able to customize the letters. We also like the feature of sending records to rDVM's online portal via rVetLink. It is easy to use, once you get familiar with it
Cons:
We wish everything had the "chains" to be able to get to the portal. Biggest example would be communications. We send everything to rDVM's and it would save so much time if we could just turn the "chains" green and they would send automatically. Also, there are several different spots to put the same information. Again this relates to communications. If everyone is not on the same page, communications can be put under different tabs and different spots within the same tab. And not all these areas communicate with one another so it can make it difficult to find communications
Alternatives Considered: Cornerstone Software
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: DVMax was purchased by Idexx and Cornerstone is their baby so at the time, they were not investing a lot into the program
Switched From: DVMAX Practice
Reasons for Switching to ezyVet: It seemed to be targeted more towards specialty
Best choice for our practice
Comments: I think ezyVet has been beneficial to our practice. The automated tasks have been especially useful in sending reminders to clients. I also like that they have added the ability to send payment links to clients. The more we can do to make things easier for our clients, the better
Pros:
I like that the software is constantly changing and that most things can be customized for our needs.
Cons:
ezyVet isn't able to configure some of the ways that I prefer to set up pricing. At times, I've needed to be a bit creative in order to price things how I would like while also keeping accurate inventory.
Alternatives Considered: Hippo Manager
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: DVMax was an antiquated server based software and we were looking for a cloud based software to use across numerous locations.

This is so easy!
Comments: Ezyvet is a great product. We rarely have issues with service, the support is almost always able to help me solve a problem.
Pros:
When we switched to Ezyvet, of course there were a few bumps but overall, it was great to hear staff say, "oh my gosh this is so easy!" From the customizable templates to the ease of use, this has really been a game changer for us! Technicians and Drs are able to leave ON TIME (for the most part) bc the time they are having to chart their records has been cut in half.
Cons:
I wish the records tab could be a little more user friendly. I am often interested in pulling data but it takes me a long time to figure out which selections I need to use. One feature I would love to see is to pull a report to let us know how long each Dr is in an appt. There are currently reports that can be run to let us know how long a patient is here, but can't be separated by Dr.

Comments: It has made charting and finding records very easy. I keeps things very organized in a high volume environment. I love how each clinic is able edit the software to their liking
Pros:
I have used this product at multiple other clinics in a emergency setting. I have found that the software is not only very easy to use (hence the name of the company), but it helps keep everything organized in a high volume setting.
Cons:
I personally don't have any issues with the software. Any issues i have would be toward the admin team that set up the program and chose how they wanted it to run.

Makes my life as vet tech very easy!
Comments: Great! I really enjoy most aspects of it and it makes a lot of sense.
Pros:
Very user friendly for record keeping and I love the picture option for pets.
Cons:
The bill takes a long time to view, especially the ones with lots of line items. Also needs a better section for medications that the patient is currently taking, including doses that may be changed when communicating with the veterinarian without seeing the patient.
EzyVet Useage
Pros:
Multiple ways to navigate and find what you are looking for so it's quick to get from one place to another
Cons:
The system for setting up planning guides on the E-booking calendar feels cumbersome and is time consuming if there are changes. Staff spend a lot of time copy/pasting scripts when there isn't an integration with online pharmacies

EzyVet Review
Comments: Having had experience with two other veterinary software systems, I was very pleased with the transition to ExyVet. The pre-transition preparation, data transfer, and testing was on time and very well sequenced so that it came off without much difficulty. The "D-Day" of cut over was relatively smooth and painless. Obviously no major software transition is going to be completely painless when dealing with over 60 employees, but I will say that it was as painless as it possibly could have been. I was very pleased with the help we had on-site for the first week of the transition. Their help in developing new standard operating procedures to assist in integrating the software into our normal work flow was outstanding. I would recommend EzyVet without reservation.
Pros:
It is intuitive, well integrated, very well thought out as to efficient work flow sequences, and is always being upgraded to suit the needs of the customer. Being cloud based, something can be fixed or changed (when needed) very quickly in a matter of minutes. The medical record is very well thought out and useful; easy to navigate. The ability to pull up records from any computer anywhere and see lab results, x-ray reports, ultrasound reports, client financial data, and handle client questions and document it (again due to the cloud based software) allows one freedom from having to work from a single location. Responsive customer service. Integrates well with Smart flowsheet.
Cons:
Due to confusion of the definition of "medical record" from some staff members, sometimes multiple invoices are generated on a single patient that has to be sorted out and not missed. This, however is an operator error, and not an error of the software. This trend also tends to be reduced with operator familiarity. The frequency of the error occurring however detracts from the overall happiness with the software. To be honest, to fill this part of the review in required some significant time to think of something negative to say about it, and again this may be a statement more of the employees than it is a statement about the software.

The cloud-based software I've been waiting for
Comments: EzyVet has enabled our practice to run much more efficiently. There are never lost charts. It is easy to fix mistakes like duplicate client records. Having specific therapeutics set up with billing triggers means fewer missed charges. The time savings have been substantial.
Pros:
I love being able to log in from anywhere! If I communicate with a client from home, I can log it in the patient's record right then and there. The software is quite intuitive to use. I LOVE that we have billing triggers linked to Therapeutics/Procedures so that, as we enter a patient's medical record, we are automatically adding charges to the bill to correspond with what we've done. It has been very easy to adapt our record keeping. The templates and shorthand have saved me a ton of time. I like the ability to customize the medical record format a bit; i.e., we have our "Patient History labeled as "Subjective" and "Physical Examination" labeled as "Objective" to maintain consistency with traditional SOAP formatting. I like being able to easily create customized forms. All of my patient data and medical records were imported from our previous software, so no information was lost.
Cons:
It's expensive (but worth it). It would be great if the time clock feature could highlight days when an employee worked >8 hours (or >10 hours for alternative work week practices). I'd like if a linked communication could be moved from one visit to another. I'd also like to see consistent formatting for phone numbers so no matter how they are entered they look the same in the software. There are almost too many reporting features; I haven't learned the nuances of the differences between financial reports (Payment Revenue vs. Invoice Revenue for example).

Thanks for your great review, Milinda. It is wonderful to hear you and your team are getting great value from ezyVet, especially at a time like this when everyone is having to adjust to new work dynamics. Please keep this sort of feedback coming. I have shared it with ezyVet's wider team, as it is exactly what helps us refine our next versions of the software. Stay safe The ezyVet Team
Absolutely no regrets. An incredibly comprehensive software platform. Detailed, customisable.
Comments:
Time saving
Improved fee capture
Consistent record keeping
Detailed record keeping
Team accountability
Streamlining practice systems
Ease of reminder burdens
Great client communication
Reporting tools are great
Customisation is incredible
Support is fantastic
Integration is well executed
Pros:
I do not see me ever needing to change practice software ever again. Put simply, this program does an amazing job of automating my vision of how our practice Standards Of Care are managed, and I can do practically everything I want it to. I love how so many parts of this program allow significant time saving steps, and there is lot of automation. The more you customise, the better this gets, so use these features! This program is very well layed out. Whilst it might be a struggle at first to ensure your entire team is on board with where/how to do specific (practice-customised) tasks, the importance and ease of finding that specific information later is self-evident. The tracking of changes significantly increases accountability and ensures team consistency. The integration is amazing - with laboratories, S8 log book, SmartFlow and more! The autobilling and record keeping is a breeze! If anyone in the team has questions that only ezyVet can answer, the Support system is superb. You can call up if it is a critical issue, or send a written request and rank it's importance. They are very responsive and changes or ideas are also warmly received. I am only just now starting the analysis of data and learning how and what data I want from the program. I am confident even before this review that the program is allowing me to better understand where to focus my attention on business development and financial goals. I know any feedback for improvements is valued.
Cons:
There is truly nothing I don't like. Some of the challenges: In order to truly get the best results, you have to understand how the program works, and put in the necessary hours to learn how to customise your own practice program. This time investment can be a very daunting pre-changeover and you will need an ongoing interest to push the program to it's limits as you learn the amazing features over time. If you are not dedicated to put in the hours, then you can't complain it doesn't do what you want. Remember - set it up once and it is there forever more! I have heard users unhappy about how certain features work, only to delve deeper and find that they really had no idea/interest about how to customise their so called "problem", or the immense value as to WHY something is as it is. I am a "details" personality type, and I had intentions to customise a lot of the functions pre-changeover. I could foresee that there was a need for significant time investment in personalising this program long-prior to the changeover date. I would have favoured being permitted to have the access and software training much earlier in the induction process to ease this anticipated time burden. But I understand that that has been addresses with my feedback for others. Any internet based cloud program will suffer from gremlins of dropping requests on occasion, requiring you to reload the page, but that is not unique to ezyVet. Yes, annoying, but that's the internet - suck it up!

Great, but needs some revisiting
Comments: Once our team got it tuned in to our practice, it really went along with our mission of elevating standards.
Pros:
Tab varieties and organization systems are thorough. The create document function is so helpful.
Cons:
Too many options that seem irrelevant. Should at least be given the option to hide tabs or functions if not in use. Prescriptions and the medication tab could really use a revamp and our team had to work around the system.
Alternatives Considered: IDEXX Neo
Reasons for Choosing ezyVet: Poor record keeping in avimark, outdated.
Switched From: Covetrus Avimark

Hi Kayleigh, Thanks for your feedback! We appreciate hearing from our customers so that we can take your feedback into consideration and hear how ezyVet is making their lives easier. I'm glad that you have found our organization systems helpful, and I will pass along your feedback around hiding unwanted tabs on to our Product team to consider! Warmest Regards, the ezyVet Team
Long term user of Ezyvet
Pros:
We were one of the early adopters of Ezyvet and changed from our previous practice management software because it enabled us to email out statements, and reminders. It does a whole lot more than this and is regularly updated. Being cloud based we don't have hassles with servers and networks, or backups. It has integrations with our wholesalers giving us automatic pricing updates, easy download of invoices and entry of stock recieved. It is integrated with our inhouse and external lab suppliers so lab results are automatically added to the consult file. Ezyvets printer setup allows printing at the clinic from any device anywhere in the world (with internet access) Support is quick, efficient and friendly. It really is great.
Cons:
Some of the initial set up took a bit of work to get done, but i think that would happen with any new system.

Thanks for your great review, Dave. It's great to hear that you are really taking full advantage of all areas of ezyVet, key integrations, reminders, inventory, cloud-based printing to name a few. In turn, helping to create more efficient workflows for your clinic. We know that the onboarding process can be a steep learning curve and an area we are always looking at how we can fine-tune and improve. Thanks again for your feedback and for sharing your pros and cons. Sincerely The ezyVet team
Advanced features to support growing practices
Comments: I have been using Ezyvet for 6+ years and I am overall satisfied. It supports our 5 growing practices. I would love to see feature requests being responded to in a more timely manner and a higher investment in client service akin to what was provided in the earlier days of implementation.
Pros:
Reminder system and appointments are easy to use and have a big impact. The e-bookings are great and are like having a virtual receptionist. I would like to see an integration with the ability to take payments upon the time that the client books an appointment with the client financial file also being updated.
Cons:
Cost prohibitive with adding users. I strongly feel that there should be a cap in regards to cost for the number of users that are using the system, especially when some users have to be entered as resources/providers. Frustrating when it comes to planning guides as it tends to remove planning guides when an appointment resource is adjusted manually. Reporting for third party integrations should be allocated to each division and not lumped into one report. For Example, Mercks parasite prevention report.
