We have 65 vehicles in our fleet that all need fuel. With Wex, we don't have to give all our drivers credit cards or submit for reimbursements, asking our drivers to pay the cost up from. Wex allows us to attach a gas only card to each vehicle, not the person, with excellent monitoring and alerting software to back the cards. > > **Cons**: The one complaint we've had is the stations accepted. For the most part, Wex is widely accepted. We are near a lot of rural areas and we will get a complaint from a driver about once a month that the card was not accepted at a station when there aren't many other options nearby. > > Our company has been using Wex for years. They have helped us as our fleet has grown and our needs have changed with fantastic customer service and support. The check got there late (for the first time in a long time), and instead of being understanding to a loyal customer, they charged us over $1,200\! Their website is also an impossible to navigate maze, and just isn't worth it. > > Our overall experience has been very negative. They switched websites a year or two ago and did not close the old cards after sending new cards, and charged us late payments for accounts that should have been closed out. It was very confusing, and the customer service pretty much did not exist.
