Reviews of Absorb LMS

Easy to use and highly customizable LMS
Comments: In an organization where the employee training process is very significant, it is necessary to have a robust tool that facilitates the planning and execution of staff professional improvement courses. This platform offers a very versatile set of tools.
Pros:
I really like that navigating through its functions is very easy. It allows you to design a personalized, interactive and very flexible learning experience. The tracking of participants' progress is very effective and offers very complete reports that provide detailed information for the improvement of the following courses. The electronic signature helps to confirm the fulfillment of the different training stages that are planned.
Cons:
I would like to see more integration options to strengthen corporate learning paths.
ABSORB LMS: Streamlined and Successful
Comments: Top service provider experience, professional, flexible--felt like a partnership from the get go!
Pros:
The customer service was tops from purchase contract to implementation! Easy to set up, customizable for our needs.
Cons:
Some aspects a challenge to design to our needs. A little programming will help.
Alternatives Considered: Wix
Reasons for Switching to Absorb LMS: Had all features we were seeking. Customer service and price were good from the get go.
A bit clunky but in the end it does the job
Comments: Having to deliver training content for compliance purposes has been very easy and fast to setup thanks for the integrated content library. It is not complicated to use if the project is simple. Reporting can be s bit slow but it does its job.
Pros:
It does the job. The course creation feature is good, the authoring tool doesn't disappoint, and the free content library is perfect. This is very important for companies that need to deliver training in no time. The performance is good because it's cloud-based, so it scales well in case of need. The LMS could also be a source of revenue thanks to e-commerce tool. It comes with a lot of integrations so the system can communicate with external environments.
Cons:
The look and feel appears dated, despite constant improvements, and the administration tasks need to be done according to Absorb's logic and it could be very different from how other LMSs work.
Absorb Integrstion into BVC Portal System
Comments: We have had a great experience with Absorb. It took us nearly a year to get things fully configured but we were assitted greatly by the Absorb on-boarding and support team. They also helped us with the integration of the Absorb system into our own proprietary software.
Pros:
Absorb is a very rich software system that allows for multiple configurations. Courses are easy to setup and administer. For us, however, we were able to separate our global network of trainers into each one’s separate ’department’ which allows them to administer their own courses and registrations in their own account. This makes for effective course delivery and reporting.
Cons:
What we liked least is actually Absorb’s strength - there are so many ways to configure courses and curriculum that sometimes it gets a little confusing.

Absorb LMS is overall good, but has areas for improvement
Comments: Good for mid-size business internal training, but not if you use both internal & external trainings. Trial is a bit minimal at 10 days as it's hard to really load and test the systems full functionality in that small amount of time. 30 days would be a great update.
Pros:
top notch customer service, intuitive interface and integrates well with other systems
Cons:
system is very clunky for administrators and qlitchy apps. The cost is high for support beyond basics and it's hard to get queries and issues resolved in a timely manner.
