> **Pros**: File In Time is inexpensive and effective for smaller practices, especially if they have other systems for tracking client info, calendar, emails, files etc.

> **Cons**: Fairly narrow capabilities. Really all it does is track tasks (including recurring tasks), sub-tasks, notes, and dates completed in a spreadsheet like database. This was useful and cost effective when we started. We had a different system for each function...File In Time to track tasks and notes, a different program for tracking emails, one for storing files, one for secure messaging, one for billing, one for calendar and scheduling, one for client data. Each one was effective at it's particular task and each was cost effective. The problem was that we had an incredible amount of redundancy and a very large number of programs to keep track of/log into in/enter new clients into etc. If you are just starting this may be worth the cost savings. If you are not I suggest using a program that combines all of these functions in one place.
