It has the built in financial module, called loan bookkeeping module that is its best value as it can calculate automatically accruals and handle the import of client payments. It has the possibility to integrate with third party systems, via store procedures or web services and this in generally works very well. The database it self is not in 3 or 4 NF and for that reason if any direct query is made within the production DB it can slow down the operations.
