Booqable Is Easy To Use and Makes Doing Business Easy!

Comments: Nothing but good to say about Booqable. The value I get from the platform is worth more than I am paying. Glad to have them helping me keep my business moving.

Pros:

Booqable has made it possible for me to turn my idea into a real business. It was easy to set up and get going and there is a lot of customization available.

Cons:

I honestly have no complaints. I find the interface intuitive and easy to use.

Alternatives Considered: Event Rental Systems and Goodshuffle Pro

Reasons for Switching to Booqable: Booqable presented itself as easy to use and set up which was a priority for me. Cost was also a consideration and Booqable seemed the best.

booqable is now what wastes my time

Comments: this operation is run by children with no managers at the helm - the operations they run are very subpar - the communication is the worst - not to be bragged about. I have asked to communicate with a manager or someone in charge and there is no such person...

Pros:

It seemed to be the solution to solving several time consuming tasks on my end.

Cons:

booqable now consumes all of my time trying to complete each task, each step of the way. no one is ever available from the company and they pass the puck to one another instead of solving or taking responsibility. no one to help when you need it - everyone shows up when you have no more time. this is not a company to be trusted

Comments: Because my website runs entirely on the Booqable system, I have no problems with the operation of everything. I used to work with external apps and that sometimes caused problems for the overall operation of the site. Booqable strongly supports this in offering a very stable unit and that is very nice to know. No worries about the website working properly... this is over and now I can fully focus on my work.

Pros:

I was looking for a solution for my trailer rental business for a long time. Booqable has everything I need. Website template, booking program, payment program and customizable documents for a very good price.

Cons:

At first I stumbled a bit trying to find my way around the system. But this was resolved very well by the helpdesk. I received a solution to every question.

Love using booqable!

Comments: Brilliant!! Really enjoy using booqable.

Pros:

The new website themes are beautiful, the website builder is easy to use, I was able to setup the entire website by myself, the booqable ai chat bot offers quick and easy answers and any additional questions are answered by the booqable team overnight (I'm in New Zealand). The backend handles bookings and inventory management with ease. Base pricing offers everything you need ro get up and running and to manage your business. No additional fees to manage shopping cart. Links well with stripe.

Cons:

Great if coupons and $ off was part of the base subscription, rather than an upgrade. Booqable does offer the ability to sell products as well, but the user experience isnt as great. Would be amazing if this was improved.

Pros:

It streamlined my organization of my AC rental business. Very easy and intuitive user interface.

Cons:

Processing or recording payments are not yet available on the Android app. No way to automatically plug into accounting software.

Comments: Overall we love it. It's made us so much more revenue than what we anticipated. A combination of webshop orders and paid ad traffic through google is a must in our industry. Booqable makes this easy.

Pros:

What I loved about it is that you don't need to be a web developer to be able to create a good functional website. Yes it lacks several bells and whistles of one but as a starter website and a business with less than 2 years I believe is excellent and it does the job. I love that we are able to create quotes on web browsers or it's application. Easy to create them. I love that it is so easy to create new items, their quantities, prices etc. As a growing party rental business this is important for us as we are expanding. What we love the most, is the automatic web shop orders. Being able to receive online orders has become the number 1 reason why we are able to get 3x more orders, without doing a thing (just the initial web setup.)

Cons:

Not being able to easily send quotes through the mobile app. Not being able to receive tips through the payment portal. Web design can improved. They need to allow the users to embed videos or images. Embedding Booqable's calendar to your mobile device calendar is not that great. It does not allow items to be edited so that's a bummer.

Alternatives Considered: Event Rental Systems

Reasons for Choosing Booqable: I needed a fully functioning web site and automatic webshop ordering.

Switched From: Square Payments

Reasons for Switching to Booqable: For the most part we choose Booqable because of its price vs features. It gave us what we needed at a time where our revenue wasn't as much.

Comments: Very easy to use. Booqable is very easy to setup and in couple of hours we can have a web app which is fully operational.

Pros:

Easy to setup and preview live and its user friendly

Cons:

@Booqable showing at the bottom will only be hidden if we take the premium package

Comments: Love it! We look professional, we can manage our business, never over booking, the calendar syncs with our Google calendars so we can see at a glance what is up next. We are not bogged down with a system that requires a full time admin person to run it, its quick and easy. Its focusd on cloent orders and managing inventory ( in and out) and nothing else

Pros:

Its easy to use, affordable, can be used for both rentals and sales plus can be used as onlinr store or linked with a website, it also has build in payment features such as stripe

Cons:

The system is geared for customer pickup, we deliver 95% of our orders, delivery fees are based on distance. We do not allow clients to book direct through an online platform because most of our inventory is delivery only, i wish there was a way to set up delivery with the system, it would save us a lot of back and forth with emails

Booqable sets us apart.

Comments: So far, Booqable has been pretty easy to use and understand for myself and customers. If I am not able to figure something out, I can usually just look up my question under the help section and find my answer quickly.

Pros:

I like that Booqable allows our company to have an overall different website image than all the other party event rental businesses out there. Our website and booking process is very unique and allows us to not fall into the "cheesy" event party rental systems category, but yet still be easy to navigate.

Cons:

The calendar. I would like to be able to see a whole month calendar layout without having to scroll.

Pros:

It’s impeccable. Booqable has a neat design and the performance is out of this world.

Cons:

The subscription plans. For small companies it would be great to have an option of paying per team member in order to ad roles and permissions.

It Keeps Getting Better

I remember when I first found Booqable right before I was about to purchase with another rental software company, I was a little skeptical because the company was in the UK somewhere but everyone I talked to was so nice and respectful, they told me to do the free trail and since then I haven’t looked back. Since then I have started two different companies with Booqable and seeking more.

Pros:

Comments: Ease of onboarding. The video documentation on how to set it up and the whole guidance. A very useful tool for any rental business!

Pros:

Can be configured very granularly to support any rental business. Especially the pricing model has plenty of options. Also the fact that booqable can be integrated in the the website is a big plus. Of course the videos that explain all the configuration help tremendously

Cons:

the mobile app need some more features, especially the calendar with the booked items

Amazing for the price

Pros:

I love the amount of features that you got even at the entry-level price point. This was the perfect solution for our business to help keep track of our inventory.

Cons:

I wish there was more functionality in the phone app. I almost always have to pull up the website version to get access to everything I need to do. This feels strange for me because almost everything else about my business can be done via a phone applications.

Alternatives Considered: Rentman and EZRentOut

Reasons for Switching to Booqable: The interface looks easy to use, which is important for my employees. It was also a bit cheaper overall than the other options.

Awesome interface, easy set-up, user friendly

Pros:

At a glance, it just makes sense. The interface is easy to understand and navigate. Which in turn makes training staff to use it also very easy. The online booking integration adds a professional touch to the website and is easy to use. I love the automatic and integrated email templates. Another very professional touch to the customers experience. I send thank you emails with a google review link and it has boosted SEO enormously Organizing inventory is comprehensive and thorough. The development team is responsive to suggestions. Customer service is really amazing! They have answered a million emails from me over the years and I appreciate the team at Booqable, especially as a green business owner.

Cons:

I found the locations feature to lack in many ways. The 'locations' in the software were not very separate and having all the inventory and all reservations for both shops appear each day was very confusing. Separate log-ins and interfaces would have made much more sense for us, as inventory is not shared across our locations. The work around was to pay for a second account and build them unique to each shop, which is annoying but worth it for us. I dislike that there is not a maintenance feature. Being a bike shop, inventory goes down and I have to make pretend reservations or remove items from inventory. Having some kind of maintenance feature could be really useful our mechanics to track items in repair, share notes and timelines. Luckily we are not performing repairs at this time. If we were also a bike repair shop, we would likely have to go with a different platform.

My experience with booqable

Comments: Overall very good experience. Their customer support is very responsive, their pricing is fair, they have the features we need.

Pros:

I like the customer support and the customizability and the way it looks nice on my website. I also like the transparent pricing and features on their website.

Cons:

It seems to mostly expect you to rent out products by the hour, and we do it by half day blocks, so we've had to do some workarounds to set it up the way we want, and some aspects are still a little clunky on the backend and front end as a result.

Pros:

Everything we needed!

Pros:

Before using Booqable, we used to have to handle our inventory management, booking/contract details and invoicing all manually. We spent a lot of time going back-and-forth with clients. Booqable has taken those tasks off our hands. It's a great platform where everything can be done in one place, efficiently.

Cons:

We used Booqable's website builder and didn't love it. It isn't as user-friendly as other platforms like Squarespace, but we managed to create our website with what it offered.

Booqable delivers a top-notch customer booking experience

Comments: I have a motorcycle rental business in Japan. I wanted to differentiate my business against existing motorcycle rental businesses by giving customers online visibility of the availability dates of rental motorcycles and tour packages, and then to only collect an online reservation fee payment to guarantee the reservation. I save time manually managing inventory and emailing prospects. My customer feel assured that they can reserve the specific rental item on the specific rental days they want. Booqable gives both me and my customers value in time savings and assurance that a rental request can be fulfilled.

Pros:

The Booqable administrative interface is easy to understand, and each feature has a useful instructional guide. I can configure Booqable and verify the results immediately. Booqable customer support responds quickly with accurate information and advice.

Cons:

Booqable still does not have API integration to Stripe "test mode". I had to test my final integrated business platforms with a live credit card and pay some Stripe commissions for some dummy orders.

The best system I have used

Comments: Overall, Booqable has been an enormous help with our rental and our business. I have used different platforms at my previous jobs, and none were as good as Booqable.

Pros:

The application is very user-friendly. The features have improved a lot during the nearly-two years that we have been using it. The best thing about Booqable is their incredible customer service. I always get a reply very promptly with perfect information. Also, I really like the new feature with "Collections" so we can separate our inventory into two main categories.

Cons:

Sometimes there are some glitches that have not been addressed yet. For example, when you want to delete an item from the inventory, sometimes there is a warning sign and you can't delete it, but it doesn't tell you why you can't delete it (probably because it is in some other bundle or in someone's order, but you need to do a lot of searching to find the problem). Also I would really like it if it was possible to add bundles inside other bundles. Like some "super bundles" are a combination of three other bundles, but unfortunately I have to add every item from each of the three other bundles individually, which wastes time.

Comments: Overall Booqable is a great system that I will continue to use into the foreseeable future.

Pros:

The system was easy to setup and intuitive when moving through the screens. It didn't take me long to get the hang of of how it all worked. The website builder component is very easy to use once you get the hang of it and presents well. I had a few questions and hiccups along the way and [sensitive content hidden] went above and beyond to ensure that I was back on track and everything was working as it should.

Cons:

A few basic issues presented initially. The first being the system didn't like having too many large high quality images displayed on the product page. The customer service team were able to get this sorted though. Another suggestion would be the ability to customise the names of the manual payment types for easy recognition on my end. No biggie though.
