NetSuite is a Great Option
Comments: Our account rep, account manager, and implementation lead are all really pleasant to work with and communicate well. The product is working well so far, and we're looking forward to our Phase 2.
Pros:
So customizable that you can configure it to do just about anything. A unique product that can really be for anyone. Once live, it's fairly intuitive.
Cons:
While the customization is amazing, you can get lost if you don't pay attention to the details or aren't working with someone who knows the technical nuances well when you set it up. Our implementor ([sensitive content hidden] ) helped us with this.

Comments: Easy to learn. Good ecosystem. Easy to modify.
Pros:
Netsuite is developer friendly. The ecosystem is large enough to find support easily
Cons:
I as a IT admin and a developer have no complaints about NetSuite. Maybe our different department members might differ on this opinion. A night mode UI would be nice.

Comments: I guess it is ok not wow but I think it is challenging to know the system and utilize the tools available

A lot of customisation options & features. Can tailor it to work within your business needs.
Cons:
It takes a long time for new users to learn. Some features are falling behind competitors. Very difficult to integrate with other software.
Alternatives Considered:
An Adequate Project Based Time Tracker with Too Many Steps
Comments: NetSuite is a system that adequately does what you need it to and will cover your bases for project based time tracking and employee payments. But it's unnecessarily complicated and there are many hidden buttons even when working on a large screen.
Pros:
Once you get the hang of the system, it's fine for tracking your time and getting the employees what they need across a wide ranges of projects. The ability to track multiple projects is probably the best and only thing I like about it.
Cons:
The system is NOT intuitive. There are lots of extra buttons you have to hit to make certain time tracked is registered. It feels like jumping through hoops to get to a new line. There are extra steps that feel unnecessary to just put in a timesheet.
