> **Cons**: The program started to continually freeze and had to be forcibly shut down from Task Manager. It is completely non-responsive.

> I started using FileCenter in 2013 and have renewed the license every year since. However, this year (2024), their program stopped working entirely. It continually freezes and does not respond to any commands. The program cannot be closed from within the program window (the "x"), and has to be forcibly shut down via the Task Manager. While it's frozen, the Task Manager flashes red for file manager, indicating that it is using 20% of the CPU resources. No other program on the program is malfunctioning. FileCenter tech support is worthless and insists it's not their program but my computer that's the problem. Wrong. the old Windows File Explorer does not freeze, nor does any other program. FileCenter is a lemon program. Don't waste your money.
