Incredible email management tools

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: I enjoy using mailchimp because of its flexible and easy setup, it is perfect for email marketing and management with step by step suggestions built into it, I strongly recommend

Pros:

It's easy to setup with editable templates for suggestive email samples

Cons:

While importing files, you have it follow a format of names and email, it does not allow for a flexible contact type of email only and it's become costly when you have a larger email database to manage

Industry standard tool which works well but pricing policy is counter to expanding your business - and expensive as you grow!

2.0 last month New

Pros:

MailChimp is in the industry standard for marketing email, and they do have a refined interface for creating templates and sending mail. Reports are also good.

Cons:

Their pricing policy discourages companies like ours from building and expanding clients. The pricing is predicated on number of contacts so the more contacts you have, the more you pay! Not usage based like how many marketing messages sent! We don't earn revenue by having lots of contacts - we earn revenue when a contact purchases thus when they respond to a marketing message. We shouldn't pay just to store contacts in MailChimp.

Great Templates Easy Automation

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: One thing Mailchimp nails is email automation. I’ve set up automated welcome sequences, post-purchase emails, and even abandoned cart reminders, and they all work seamlessly. It saves me so much time and ensures I’m always engaging with my subscribers at the right moments. Plus, the targeting options are really powerful, you can send personalized emails based on user behavior, and it’s all pretty easy to set up. This feature alone makes Mailchimp worth it for me.

Pros:

Creating email campaigns with Mailchimp is easy, thanks to their drag-and-drop builder. The templates look professional, and I can customize them to fit my brand. It’s also cool that Mailchimp gives you suggestions based on industry best practices while you’re building, which is helpful when you’re trying to improve your emails.

Cons:

I think some of the customization options could be a bit more flexible, but the end result always looks polished

Comments: For sending out newletters to contacts this has been amazing to just get on and do it

Pros:

Ease of use and as someone starting out with email marketing this was a god send.

Cons:

The only con I can think of really is just actually making sure I saved everything but not really an issue

Easy to use and often recommended

4.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: I've been using Mailchimp on and off for about 6 years. As a brand strategist, I use it for my personal brand use and often interact with it for my clients. It is easy to use and set up; I like the user-friendliness of it and often recommend it to brands that want a visually engaging, easy-to-use email service.

Pros:

Mailchimp is easy to use and set up. They also make it easy to customize your branding, I don't often find this on other email platforms.

Cons:

It seems better suited for e-commerce than for newsletters, which is a shame because newsletters could be a lot more attractive and engaging with Mailchimp's branding features.

Mailchimp on cutting edge and easily integrated

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: I have used MailChimp and its competitors for over 15 years. I find Mailchimp to be on the cutting edge, initiating many features others adopt later on. I also like that Mailchimp is easily integrated with many third party apps compared to competitors.

Pros:

I like the user-friendliness and intuitiveness of the software.

Cons:

Some of the design options feel cookie-cutter to me, but overall, I have learned this is necessary in order to be accessible by many different email clients.

Incredible tools

5.0 3 months ago

Pros:

I've found this software incredibly easy to use and quick to set up. Even with the free version, there’s so much you can do—managing contacts, organizing email campaigns, and customizing templates are all seamless processes. The interface is intuitive, allowing you to track key data such as email opens, link clicks, and any delivery issues without hassle. With the paid version, the software goes even further, offering advanced features that help elevate your marketing campaigns. The templates are especially useful for creating visually engaging content, making it easier to capture your audience's attention. Overall, it's a robust tool that provides real value at every level.

Cons:

I haven’t found many downsides. Perhaps the interface could feel a bit more modern, but this doesn’t affect usability in any way.

Mailchimp: A Great Starting Point for Email Marketing

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Overall, Mailchimp has been an excellent choice for my email marketing needs. It's a great option to start with, especially due to its free plan. If the cost becomes prohibitive as your email list grows, you can always export your contacts and switch to a different platform. Email is a powerful marketing tool, and Mailchimp provides everything you need to create visually appealing emails, automate drip campaigns, and capture leads with forms.

Pros:

I love Mailchimp! As a small business owner, it's been great. Starting out with its free plan was a huge plus, and I've been able to grow my email marketing efforts thanks to its easy-to-use features. I especially appreciate the ability to create automated drip campaigns, design beautiful emails, and capture leads with custom forms.

Cons:

While Mailchimp has been great for me, there are a few drawbacks. Once you surpass the free plan's limits, the cost can quickly escalate. Additionally, designing emails on a mobile device or tablet can be a bit cumbersome, and I've occasionally encountered glitches when sending longer emails on desktop.

A tool with seamless features

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: Overall, a definitely good-to-have tool if you do a lot of internal and external email campaigns. The learning curve is pretty narrow and can be operated by anyone.

Pros:

1. The new campaign builder is more robust and quicker. 2. Schedule features like time warp can help you get more opens and clicks 3. Audience and campaign feature is seamless and fast. 4. Drip and campaign setup feature can help you long campaigns on different conditions.

Cons:

1. HTML feature in content builder can be better, lack some basic HTML commands like center align, have to use padding for now. 2. Need a relatively better system, tends to hang on slow systems due to its browser consumption.

Mailchimp: A solid Email Management Program for Growing Businesses

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: My overall experience with Mailchimp has been positive. It’s a well-rounded platform that makes creating and managing email campaigns straightforward and effective. The interface is clean and user-friendly, with great tools for design and analytics. While there are some limitations and the pricing could be more accessible, the platform delivers on its promise of simplifying email marketing.

Pros:

The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, and the variety of customizable templates saves a lot of time. I also appreciated the robust analytics tools, which provide valuable insights into email performance. The integration options with other platforms and tools were a big plus, streamlining workflow and boosting efficiency. Overall, it's a great platform for managing email campaigns effectively.

Cons:

Some advanced features, like automation workflows or detailed audience segmentation, feel a bit limited unless you're on higher-tier plans. The learning curve for certain features, like audience management, could also be smoother.

Comments: Mailchimp is one of our favorite tools when running our business. We recommend it to anyone who wants to reach their audience creatively and effectively.

Our favorite features include: email template creation, duplicating campaigns to use over and over as we need them, scheduling campaigns in the future making easy to "set it and forget it" giving our employees the ability to complete other tasks. Tracking our emails and who and when they were read is also a very valuable tool.

Mailchimp helps our business grow

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Mailchimp has been a great partner for our business, helping us to put our brand in front of our audience with its great tools and features.

Pros:

I love being able to integrate Mailchimp with many of our other apps and services to ensure we are capturing useful data to build our marketing campaigns.

Cons:

I would love to see a small reduction in the cost per month for Mailchimp, however I do see value in it's features. The reason it becomes expensive for us is due to the currency conversion from USD to AUD.

A rock solid marketing platform

5.0 last year

Comments: In my consultancy, Mailchimp allowed many of our clients to quickly ramp up their marketing efforts with very small teams and little effort. It does get expensive as companies scale though.

Pros:

The low barrier to entry. The pricing for small businesses is very attractive, and between transactional mails, templates and automations it has everything.

Cons:

The biggest issue with Mailchimp is how quickly their pricing ramps up, making it preventatively expensive to maintain larger mailing lists.

Big Fan of Mailchimp!

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Overall I love Mailchimp and it has really helped me create stunning emails to send out in one mass email. The click map is crucial and helps me to keep my clients happy.

Pros:

I am a big fan of mailchimp. I like how easy it is to create beautiful emails, and track who clicked on each link and view a click map, you can send your email out in a social share easily and replicate emails easily. You can start a chat with their customer service at any time, and they will not leave you without solving your problem which I immensely appreciate.

Cons:

It took me a long time to realize how to get moving ads inside the email, it has to be a GIF and it can be really tricky to do sizing. They had an update to move campaign manager where you can view all emails, and it's hard to find.
