It also it fantastic in managing your clients, seeing what they're are up to and being able to track all their workouts > > **Cons**: I wish the Hevy Coach app had the same dashboard as the Hevy web browser settings as it would be a lot easier to check and manage all my clients through one app > > I've been on many coaching apps before and using Hevy myself for the past 4 years I can say this is definitely the best app to use if you're looking for affordable and easy to manage ----- ### "Dead simple and efficient\! I love it\!" — 5.0/5 > **Rodrigue** | *26 September 2026* | Sports | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10 > > **Pros**: Ease of of programming. It’s funny how that is the most important tool for a trainer and most apps don’t get this right. Hevy is so quick and easy to write and adapt sessions/programs. Not perfect yet but Hevy seems to be working hard on getting there. > > **Cons**: The fact that I can’t create a client account myself. Would be nice to track Session RPE with average of each set and build an arbitrary unit out of it. Also would be great to have a prescription of sets and reps range to make programming even faster. > > Great app\! I wanted something specific to resistance training that is simple and quick to build training plans around. That’s what Hevy does\! Wins in simplicity and delivers\! ----- ### "Very promising" — 4.0/5 > **Mo** | *13 May 2026* | Health, Wellness & Fitness | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The exercise library is fantastic, assigning programmes is straightforward, the metrics and insights are detailed, especially how it links with Apple Health and also takes data from other fitness accessories to give a more complete snapshot at any given training interval. > > **Cons**: I think the mobile app needs more functionality and true dedication put into it. A web-based app doesn’t suffice and makes checking in on clients more difficult. > > Generally fantastic, and a solid starting point that is extremely affordable. Very glad that the app hasn’t been hit by the AI of it all yet. A very promising platform that has a lot of potential. ----- ### "Makes Managing My Clients So Much Easier" — 5.0/5 > **Saar** | *29 August 2026* | Sports | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: What I like most is how easy it makes it to manage all of my clients' training in one place. I can quickly see their previous workouts, weights, reps and progress without having to keep everything manually. Since I coach clients in person at my own gym, it also helps a lot when they train on their own. They always have their program with them, and I can still follow their progress and make adjustments when needed. It saves me a lot of time and makes my coaching much more organized. > > **Cons**: The main thing I’d like to see improved is the exercise library. There are still some common exercises and machines that are missing, which means I sometimes have to create custom exercises for things that are actually pretty standard in the gym. I’d also like a bit more flexibility and customization on the coaching side, especially when managing multiple clients. These are relatively small issues overall, but expanding the exercise and machine library would definitely make Hevy Coach even better for coaches working in a real gym environment. ----- ### "Great platform to use\!" — 5.0/5 > **Katherin** | *8 November 2025* | Health, Wellness & Fitness | Recommendation rating: 3.0/10 > > **Pros**: The software is super easy to use, my clients enjoy the platform, and it’s so easy to build new workouts on\! > > **Cons**: I don’t have many cons to go off, maybe just that I can’t access programs I built on my personal page. Another is there’s not many options for nutrition or meal planning. > > Very easy, simple to use, my clients love the format and videos that are in each workout. I also use Hevy for my own personal tracker too\! ----- Page: 1 / 5\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.co.nz/software/1060147/hevy-coach?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.nz/software/1060147/hevy-coach) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | ----- ## Structured Data
