It is relatively easy to start with and they also have options to let Google test different ad types etc to make sure you get the best out of the platform. Implementation is easy, setting up the account is not rocket science and it does not take a long time until you can start making money from your traffic. No google employee whatsoever. I've only read somewhere on this forum that you may have an email contact with someone working on google ONLY if you have a solid income in Adsense.
