> **Pros**: TaxTools provides many dozens of worksheets and financial calculators that we would otherwise need to be manually created/worked up.  Whenever I need to do a tax or accounting related calculation that I don't do all that often I check TaxTools and often find that there is a worksheet that does what I need - a huge time saver\!  The paycheck withholding calculator is what I use the most for clients who need help determining what to claim to have the correct amount of tax taken out.

> **Cons**: Its refusal to let you save PDF printouts to a networked drive unless you pay 2x the cost for a network license (which is notionally intended for firms who have multiple users accessing the same shared database).  It also does not run well in a server OS environment. With our work taking place primarily on hosted virtual machines this is a constant irritant that needs improvement.

> I have been using TaxTools for almost 20 years and don't foresee a time that I will not need it.
