I had a litany of bad experiences with the software that caused me to eventually take my company somewhere else for business, such as. Slow software performance.

I've used Milano software in school and once you wrap your head around it, its' a great program!

Comments: All the benefits you would anticipate from a CRM.

Pros:

I like that it offers everything you need in a customer relations management program. The interface could be a little bit more user friendly or aesthetically pleasing but that's just my input.

Cons:

Program lacks colour or anything that draws you in, it gets the job one but it's not the easiest or most well done layout for a program.

We have been using this software for 12 years. It is very user friendly

Pros:

Ease of use, it has capability for multiple locations (we have two locations and opening a third), great interface.

Cons:

There are issues with Home Office. Series purchased at one location sometimes do not show up at second location. Gift certificates also do not always transfer from one location to another. Very frustrating when both locations are extremely busy and need things to flow seamlessly.

Milano was software my company ended up moving away from.

Comments: Milano did the job, but it didn't do it in the best way the software could have, which caused extra work for my staff, and myself.

Pros:

They had all the basic features needed in a booking and POS software like reports, client profiles, sales, and booking systems.

Cons:

I had a litany of bad experiences with the software that caused me to eventually take my company somewhere else for business, such as: - Slow software performance - Slow response times regarding customer support - Promises of feature development and advancement that were never delivered - Exorbitant pricing for basic features like multi-locational support - Dated GUI that wasn't the most user-friendly - The software would constantly go down and stop working making payments with clients difficult as well as awkward situations when the salons were busy and clients were left standing around when they wanted to pay and leave

Great program, has lots of reports available for individual staff and team reports

Pros:

I like most that it is easy to schedule an appointment, add new guests and check out guests. It's easy to do your day end cash balance with this program

Cons:

I like the least that it needs some upgrading with the text message confirmation and emarketing, it also freezes on occasion

Comments: Used this software for 13+ years, it has never let us down

Pros:

This system has EVERYTHING you could need to run a salon, from clients info, reports, emails, customer service, bookings.

Cons:

The only downfall to this system is that it isn't free

Comments: How has our software helped you in your business / industry?
FAM enables us, at Head Office and at the store level, to track the sales and other activity of inventory by SKU, or by Brand, or by category, etc.

What features of the software helped you run your business better / make your business processes more efficient?
Many different reports are available to us; such as sell-through reports, cost analysis reports. These help us to make wiser choices for future purchases and also to react on styles that may not be selling in one store but have taken off in another store. Some reports are customization to get the information that we require in a suitable format. The Customer Relation Management file allows us to keep key information and sales history on our clients easily accessible.

What is the best part of working with Milano Software?
FAM is an easy program for the staff to learn to use. It also is very efficient when receiving in stock and printing bar coded labels for each and every item that is received in through the system. We are able to get reports at Head Office to see the sales progress of the stores during the day. If we should have a problem with the program, the technical staff are available six days a week to help us out and they are able to remote in to our computer if necessary.

Comments: How has our software helped you in your business / industry?
To book appointments, keep track of retail and inventory. Further, it gives us access to detailed reports based on our needs. Those numbers can then be used to identify the vital areas that require further attention.
What features of the software helped you run your business better / make your business processes more efficient?
The feature that has helped us most is the integration with Moneris, because the check out process has been reduced to one step instead of the multi-step process that was previously used.
What is the best part of working with Milano Software?
The Milano Software is especially easy to use. The program is tech-savvy, very organized and the customer service is easy to reach and always readily available.

Comments: Are used to use Milano systems in my salon, however their programming has become archaic in comparison to what's out on the market. Customer support is friendly but limited. I actually considered going back to the software however after dealing with the sales person, I had no doubt that I was moving on

3 Year Old Customer!

Comments: We have been with Milano software for 3 years. After updating to the most recent version the technicians were unable to fix our online booking problem for almost 2 months. The sales representative has agreed to cancel our contract if the issue is not resolved. The issue was not resolved and the sales representative went back on her obligation to cancel and charged us close to $600 for the remaining life of the contract. This is not professional to back on an formally written promise. It was a good program but terrible customer service experience.

Comments: We have been with Milano for many years. They have been there through the many changes and growth that we have experienced along the way.
Milano helps us keep close control of our inventory in a multi store setup, allowing us to see and share inventory between the stores gives us a

Comments: Great for any salon or spa, the program easily grows with your business. Easy to book clients in, they need a little updating with online booking. But overall a very good product
