Working with clients with EDs the set up works well for our clinic and multidisciplinary team. The user interface is simple, but it is functional There are many products out there that are sleek and have glossy UIs, but underneath the structure of the product is not as sound in delivering what you need and they charge a lot more. > > **Cons**: There is one adjustment I would really like them to make, to allow the user to use the "command A" shortcut to select all text. This was something you could do previously, and hopefully will be fixed in the next update. I also think it would be great if you could pin files to the top of a client's chart (similar to how you can with a note), so that we could pin the clinical program assessment to the top for easy access. One could say a con is that it is an older looking interface, but honestly, I think that's a pro because it's straightforward and well organized. In fact it's UI is somewhat genius in design of making it seem simple and easy to organize within the complexity of the EMR system needs (even while looking a little 80s/90s style). We use other products for the patient portal in terms of documents (besides appointment reminders), so I can't provide a comprehensive review on it. That said, I believe it works pretty well and automatically loads into chart, but other services that purely devoted to sharing/signing documents and forms are probably more robust. > > Overall, I've had a great experience with BestNotes.
