Comments: The support we get from the re-seller is poor and unresponsive
We did an upgrade in June and we are now in december and there are still bugs.

Pros: It has a great rental module that helps us with our core business

Cons: The software is expensive and you need to buy extra modules to do basic business functions.
Ie: service module, rental module, true forms, cognos

Customized accessable info

Comments: We changed from Amwin to Pronto as the company got bigger, it was a big ajustment at first but now seems to function very well for the office as well as the warehouse

Pros: If you have the idea and the money, you can add and remove functions to suit your business

Cons: There are limits on some things you can do. Some of the functions take longer to do. eg. reprinting an invoice takes more steps than just pressing "send"
When you are adding functions, you also have to give up others for them to work

Pronto is used as a maintainence and works order tool at my work

Comments: History of works orders is a huge benefit

Pros: Being able to look up plant items and view the works orders completed on this plant item, who completed them and the works order history notes are very useful for fault finding. aslo having a spares list for plant items is great when ordering new spare parts

Cons: a lot of the time pronto is not very intuiative, you have to use it often to know your way around it, like printing a works order is not a simple "press print" you have to make a report then view the report and then you can print it.

used for maintenance purposes keeping track of job progress ect
