A great Spotlight alternative

Comments: I use it mostly for opening apps and accessing my pasteboard history multiple times a day.

Pros:

Alfred is like Spotlight on steroids. It has all the functionality Spotlight offers and much more. One of my favorite feature is pasteboard history, which lets you reuse the last n things you copied to the pasteboard. Another feature I like are the workflows, which can help to speed up some tasks.

Cons:

I don't know what to write here. Alfred is very customizable, so if there is something you don't like, the chance is high that you can change it.

A helpful alternative to Spotlight

Pros:

Some actions are faster than using Spotlight. I can quickly search for specific categories like files, contacts, and clipboard history... It is highly customizable and I can set up custom workflows.

Cons:

It could be a little bit more complex for some users - despite looking simple.

Poor Service and Support at MeetAlfred

Cons:

My experience with @meetalfredofficial has been disappointing. We faced technical issues with our paid accounts, including email bounces and reconnection problems. Despite reaching out, MeetAlfred's support was unavailable until January, and our subsequent cancellation request was met with a refusal for a refund, citing a No Refund Policy. This response was disheartening, especially given the service issues and lack of support. Additionally, our requests for past charge invoices were ignored, and communication ceased after account deactivation. Due to these unresolved problems and poor customer service, we are forced to cancel all our accounts with MeetAlfred. Amazing LinkedIn outreach campaign tool.

Cons:

I wish I could run this on the web without the need do download desktop software and slow down my mac.

Comments: Alfred is marketing automation tool designed for sales and marketing teams to automate their outreach and lead generation efforts. Provides simple interface to customize templates and send them personalized in multiply networks.

Pros:

The main purpose of Alfred is to deliver content to specific users in specific channels. You can create templates with variables which will be substituted and then automatize whole process. You can connect linkedln to send daily messages to users or use basic mail inbox to send personalized emails. As a result this application can save up lots of time for you and your colleagues.

Cons:

Users without knowledge will probably have a lower learning curve. Alfred is perfect for someone with experience in this kind of software.

Terrible support staff and sketchy tool

Comments: One of the worst SAS companies I have worked with. I do not recommend this to anyone. No matter how flashy their marketing is and great UX their tool has, do not waste your money.

Pros:

The interface is easy to use and setup is quick.

Cons:

It has a ton of bugs and always stops working. It doesn't synch to your linkedin correctly and the support staff is one of the worst I encountered. Sometimes they go up to 4 days without responding to any request. It really feels like a scam but sometimes it works and is worth it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has little time to manage, since the tool is so bugged it takes a lot of your time.

FAKE Promises - SCAM!

- Fake promises- Constant bugs for weeks- They solve an issue but then another arises- Horrible customer and tech support- The [sensitive content hidden] does not dare the be on the linkedin page of meetalfred.com- This company is a joke!

Bad customer service experience

Comments: Bad experience. No amount of good technology and legalese will replace goodwill and customer care.

Pros:

Automates part of Linkedin outreach campaign.

Cons:

Thought I paused the subscription last May 6, as that's what the site encouraged instead of cancellation. Confusing controls as I was still billed - shocked to see a $177 charge on May 8, so immediately informed them of the situation using multiple channels. No response until today - they still insisted on charging me $88, even if I clearly would not use the service anymore Even worse they claimed: "We can't see any attempt at pausing your subscription too" despite the fact that I used the pause button both on May 6 and subsequently on May 8 right after I saw the billing.

Meet Alfred doesn't work

Comments: The software is extremely buggy. The chat window disappears after you send a message and your message is not recorded. There is no other way to contact the company - no phone number, no address, no email. It's very difficult to shut it off and disconnect from LinkedIn and there are no instructions to do so in their help documents. The overall impression is they're fly-by-night or completely incompetent. Worst software experience I've had in a long time, maybe ever.

Pros:

Nothing. I did not like anything about it.

Cons:

Everything. Nothing worked, and they don't seem to care.

Didn't Work; No Refund

Comments: after their product not working (not being able to connect/send messages) they didn't refund us, and we were unable to resolve with customer support

Pros:

Looked really great, clients liked using - not TOO expensive.

Cons:

The account didn't worked (got blocked by LinkedIn few weeks in)

Alfred DOES NOT WORK

Comments: Alfred does not work we tried three computers and none worked. Spent countless hours online with technical department, made every change they recommended and nothing worked. Asked for refund they say they have a no refund policy. Be aware this company is a complete scam!!!

Pros:

There are no pros to a system that does not work and a technical department that does not get back to you.

Cons:

EVERYTHING NOTHING WORKS AND THE COMPANY WILL NOT ISSUE REFUND

Nichts was ein LinkedIn Tool auch kann. außer paar Vernetzungen mehr die deinen Account speeren.

Cons:

- Uploads sind eine Katastrophe - E-Mail templates sind nicht sauber einzurichten - Keine Terminierte Mail versendung - Alles dauert ewig -Kein Test möglich (also im vollen ausmaß) musste 150€ investieren - Die ausgegebenen Adressen sind private Mailadressen
