This we found in the Protector alert system from Vatix. It is so simple to download and can be set up and activated immediately. Its intuitive functionality means that timed alerts can be set, changed and stopped within seconds and its emergency alarm setting is a reassuring function for our staff. Linking to a live location map is an added safety feature and means that our service managers can see at a glance if any issues in the field need attention. The response from the monitoring team is also prompt and professional. > > **Cons**: We did have an issue with the QR Code scanning feature on the companion mobile app which lasted a few days, meaning our people couldn't assign the devices to themselves using the mobile app. This was resolved and has since worked fine. The interface is not particularly intuitive to use and the need to switch between the Protector and Admin interfaces to perform certain functions on the users is not clear. Setting up new users and the user portal are hopefully being reviewed to improve the ease of creating new users and to allow some self maintenance by the users i.e. ability to add their own Date of Birth and verification phrase. > > Lone worker protection is what we needed to achieve. GPS is good but won't narrow down a flat within a block for example. > > The ease of set up was a dream which is down to Vatix and its people knowing the needs of its customers. Plus a great account manager \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] who was/is always at hand to help us and made the set up and transition so easy. Extremely helpful.
