Comments: Overall, I am using this software for the last 2 years and I am very happy. I have also recommended this software to many of my friends and I highly recommend it to others too.

Pros:

The best part about this tool is that it is very user-friendly and its UI is great. This is one of the best video editing softwares I've used and it is relatively cheap for professional-grade software. You can add stock footage from its media library and also add background to your green screen videos. You can easily add video effects and also modify them. You can also do advanced editing with a lot of effects, transitions, colors, and titles. Adding video footage, extracting and adding audio files, and cutting and changing the positions of video clips are very easy. I love how it has a voice-over feature, allowing you to add a voice to your other videos and add music to your videos. It allows you to export your videos in multiple video formats with lots of customization settings. It also allows you to export your videos directly to your social media platforms like Youtube. The speed of exporting videos is also quite fast.

Cons:

There is nothing that I dislike about this software.

Comments: Wondershare Filmora is a quality video editing software. We've used Filmora AI to generate videos that's been uploaded to Facebook and YouTube without any copyright infringement. Affordable. Good for content creators, marketers and business promotion.

Pros:

Value for Money. Customer support. Lightweight. Many effects and filters. Use AI to generate videos and sound track or audio. Wondershare Filmora allows you to select any voice and gender for your video creation. Can be used for general video creation purpose.

Cons:

Video exported always have large size. You need to use a video compressor to compress the output which is common with video editors. Some effects are not perfect to use on mobile phones.

Terrible video quality when posting to Youtube. Free trial is BS. Don't give your credit card.

Comments: I was not happy with the results when posting my video to YouTube from the desktop app, so I asked for a refund. This was 2 days after my purchase. I explained my issues, but they refused to refund my money. Here's the response from the agent, [sensitive content hidden]: "We guess maybe there is some misunderstanding, the 7-day trial is only for Filmora Creative Assets, it does not include the Filmora subscription. So when you selected to buy, you were charged for Filmora itself immediately. Hope this clarifies your confusion. - Let's get back to your concerns. Regarding your refund request for the Filmora order, I am sorry to tell you that your case falls outside the refund scope because it belongs to personal reasons according to our refund policy (https://www.wondershare.com/refund-policy.html). Seek your kind understanding.  I can sense you may feel a little disappointed. But I do believe Filmora would meet most of your needs for video editing. We highly recommend you try and use it more. Pros:

The UI was okay. I was able to import a video from my phone and edit it.

Cons:

The video quality when uploaded to Youtube was terrible. I got better results just posting directly to Youtube from my iPhone. My biggest complaint is the company itself. They will not issue refunds for this product even within the 7-day trial period. See the support agent's comments below.

Simple but Powerful Editing Software

Comments: Filmora is one of, if not THE best video editing tool I've ever used. It's got a lot of the same capabilities of powerhorses like Adobe Premiere, but in a MUCH easier-to-use package. It's also WAY more affordable than Premiere. I recommend Filmora to everyone I talk to about video editing!

Pros:

Filmora is very powerful--has a lot of capabilities--but it's designed in such a way that (unlike Adobe Premiere) it feels very simple and easy to use. It continues to get more powerful with each version--the latest one has some great, helpful AI features, like a background removal, making it insanely easy to create some cool effects without even requiring a green screen. Also, I LOVE Filmora's youtube channel....they have o many great tutorials that show you step-by-step how to create some awesome effects, and they make it SO easy!

Cons:

The only downsides I have for Filmora are: 1. Sometimes the short videos or GIFs I make are too large to upload to social media. I don't know why, since they're always very short and simple, and I believe I'm using the lower settings to export. 2. So many good things are hidden behind a paywall. I already purchased the software--it feels unfair to also expect me to pay a monthly fee just to have access to transitions and other components.

Good Software for the Price

Comments: On the overall Filmora is excellent. It's fairly fast, easy to learn, and offers enough advanced features to keep you content for a years. With each video I make I usually find a new tool or a new way to use the tools I'm already familiar with. It's a bargain.

Pros:

Filmora isn't super expensive, but it is a full fledged film making software suite suitable for amateur and professional filmmakers. You can adjust the footage in most any way you want, use whatever transitions that please you (but you use them sparingly and tastefully, unless you are making a home movie), and can work with all the normal filetypes (import and export them). For the vast majority of users Filmora is more than good enough.

Cons:

There was a period where the software was unstable, but that seems to be the case with most film editors I've run on my less than stellar hardware.

A Content Creator's Perfect Companion

Comments: Aside from a few nitpicks mentioned earlier, I'm absolutely satisfied with the rapid-editing capabilities of the software.

Pros:

Flawless & precise editing of each imported clip into the timeline while manually adjusting the duration of media files at the utilized track(s) certainly makes the software do exactly what I'd require of it without any hassle.

Cons:

Lacklustre (or lack thereof) plugin support is a dealbreaker for some people (including myself). Also, I've had several issues with opening up the project file on differing Filmora versions.

Filmora 13 Easy to Express yourself

Comments: Great, I mean great.
I love it and would highly recommend it anyone who wants to be creative.

Pros:

Easy to use. Plenty to choose from and fast loading

Cons:

I would like to see more included content and not so much content at an additional charge, but that's the way they make their money.

Easy to use and affordable

Pros:

I had previously been using premiere pro and switching to filmora was so much more budget friendly there is just either a lifetime fee or an annual fee instead of the monthly fee from premiere pro. The year I paid for with filmora would cover only one month of premiere pro and the interface with filmora is so much more beginner friendly and intuitive and easy to use.

Cons:

The export settings are a little confusing as I am used to another program.

Great when you can open it

Comments: Ugh. When it works it's great but man, try getting this thing to open so you can use it.

Pros:

I either edit my boss's video, or I create videos. We don't need fancy bells and whistles, just simple tools, and Filmora gives me that.

Cons:

IT NEVER OPENS. Seriously, I have so much trouble trying to launch this program. I used it a few days ago to start a new project. Worked fine (although it also occasionally boots you out so I my projects constantly). Today? WILL NOT LAUNCH. This is frustrating AF and happens far too often. Fix your shit.

Filmora First

Comments: For a first time user of a video editing software, Filmora has allowed me to present projects that made me look like a seasoned professional to my clients!

Pros:

It is incredibly easy to navigate, especially for those who have never used a video editor program before

Cons:

Available assets are limited in range, majority being geared toward podcasting and gaming content

A Review About Filmora in the perspective of a University College Student.

Comments: Overall, Filmora is a good video editor especially to beginners as it has a very user friendly interface. Its features are not so complicated compared to others which makes this editor simple. But I think that is actually good because I believe in "less is more" motto. On the other hand, there are rarely that I experience lag but as I have said in this review that I do something to prevent this software to lag.

Pros:

What I like most about this software is that I am able to finish video editing tasks quickly since it is easy to use and unlike other video editing software that I've tried that there are so many processes before getting the results that you want; thus very useful especially when deadline for tasks are near. Filmora for me is as easy as drag and drop process. Also, they have their own Filmstocks that I can get different transitions, titles, elements, effects, etc. which I can use whenever that I am planning to have an overall theme for a video I am making. Also, another thing that I like about in Filmora is that they give discounts to verified students like up to 30% off.

Cons:

Well, sometimes I encounter lags when using the software but only if there are a lot of videos, audios, effects, elements, transitions, etc. in the timeline. Like even if I also click the render preview button it is still super laggy. I am not sure whether the reason is because of the specs on my laptop, but my friends told me that it is high enough. The following is the specs of my laptop: Its processor is AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics, its ram is 8GB, its rom is 512GB SSD, its display memory is around 4GB, and its DirectX version is 12. Yet, I actually discover something where before the Filmora will lag because of many contents in the timeline; I will already export that video and will just create a new project where I will put exported video there and continue the process.

Excellent tool to edit videos

Comments: Filmora has made my video manipulation and editing experience quite easy and has ensured the start of a new era for me. Using images, text and audio on different layers and easily manipulating them with effects is great.

Pros:

One of the things that caught my attention was the fact that it was very easy to use and very powerful in terms of flexibility in compiling videos, audio and texts.

Cons:

Perhaps the biggest challenge was the adaptation after using other tools.

Filmora editing software.

Comments: it has options that my other editor does not have and those are the ones I need often so I use it in conjunction with the other one.

Pros:

I create a lot of videos and use two different software programs for my videos however I need both and Filmora is definably one of those.

Cons:

it needs a few more movie quality intros and outros other than that it's a needed editor.

Quick to Learn/Use, Powerful Enough for 99% People, Best Performance-to-Price Ratio

Comments: My editing skills grow with Filmora. I started using it when it was version 7. As they upgrade, my editing skills continue to improve. I have been using Final Cut Pro in the past with my iMac. But as soon as I switched to PC, I need something that I can quickly get going. In many ways, the interface is somewhat similar to Final Cut and I was able to adapt to Filmora quite quickly.

Pros:

- Fast editing workflow (simple, yet everything is there)- Very stable editing environment (zero crash, except previous version Filmora X)- Make full use of a graphic card capability (I am using GeForce RTX3060)- Relatively fast rendering (not the fastest in the market, but fast enough)- Many of the advanced functions from Filmora Pro (a higher-tier version of Filmora) is now available in Filmora- The Filmora Effect Store has tons of add-on to choose from (for a reasonable price)

Cons:

- Filmora X was one of the most disappointing version. It crashed quite often if the project gets bigger. But it is a thing in the past now. Filmora 11 is very stable and version 12 beta is out. I did not experience such things in version 11.- Rendering speed is fast, but can be faster. I noticed the CPU usage is relatively low during the rendering phase. Maybe more optimizations algorithm can be deployed in the future version.- The colour grading / correction function is relatively primitive. But still good enough for most people.

Stay away from the company

Comments: They are very unethical. They basically force you into an upgrade to be able to complete your edit and then when you ask for a refund they tell you they don't do refunds. I was working on an edit on V12, which is fine for the little work I do, and I kept getting messages to upgrade to v13. I have a "perpetual" License and they didn't say there was a charge for the upgrade so I clicked "Upgrade" HUGE mistake. Once you click that button you can't get out of it without paying the ransom. I will never buy from this company again and you shouldn't either.

Pros:

The product is average. Interface is not real intutitive.

Cons:

There customer service is AWFUL. I tried to get a refund for V13, that I was basically forced into the upgrade. After being told I would be connected in 5 minutes, I finally was connected with someone who had heavy foreign accent after 20+ minutes. I explained my problem and that I would like a refund and she refused.

Filmora best and fastest video editing software to use

Comments: I think filmora is one of the best and easiest video editing softwares I've ever used because it has more advantages than disadvantages, for every problem I've ever came across I was able to find solution to it online

Pros:

Filmora provides valuable and easy tutorials Inside the software and on YouTube it doesn't take ages to learn as it has a user friendly interface

Cons:

Filmora X crashes on some old graphics card like Nvidia GeForce GTX 710 sometimes it works well but it's not fully reliable how ever filmora has best bug fixes so crashing won't be much of a big issue for so long.

Filmora is an interesting video editor, it has features that we can create in professional video editors but with the difference that we can apply these functions easily and quickly. Filmora's workflow is very fast, we can automate numerous aspects, allowing us to create good quality videos very fast. I would personally suggest Filmora for any editor looking to create quality audiovisuals.

Cons:

Filmora is cool, but not professional I like this video editor, but it doesn't meet the needs of an experienced editor, but rather serves to speed up the creation of elaborate content and videos for social networks. But I would not use it to create long footage or professional audiovisuals, I would use it to make youtube videos or even tiktoks.

Best affordable and easy video editing software

Comments: Well i started using this in high school for quick video editing which at that time i used for basic needs which really helped me out for a time.

i would recommend this software to any one who want an easy video editor with a high level of video editing features compared to other softwares which not only can be expensive but also not easy to use. A great thing about this software is that not only its inexpensive but has a lot of features, templates ,themes,effects,tools and titles which may be not available in different other softwares for free. This is a unique thing about this software,Producing a high quality video for almost nothing. I love it.

Cons:

Well i would like this program to add more and more tools compared to other programs like adobe premier which could add more space to the users unlimited. Filmora should add something about audio quality improvement on making videos and also add some sound effects in it. The new upgraded version is so disappointing because it removed some features of the old one which were necessary like the video speed control. Nothing more to dislike about this

Most Convenient tools for beginners to professionals when it comes to Video Editing

Comments: overall, I like filmora. I've been using it for almost a year now. It improves my viewers in youtube and tiktok

I like Filmora because it's very convenient, I like their pre-templated designs, split screens, and titles, Color grading is not that too complex compared to others.

Cons:

they said before that their plans are lifetime, but suddenly they took it and change it to a perpetual plan, we can't update to a later version unless we pay an additional fee, and I don't like that. It's expensive

Don't Buy: They keep stealing your money

Pros:

It only steals my money once a year or so.

Cons:

This is how they continuously steal money from me: 1) "An updated version of Filmora is available, would you like to install it?" 2) I click yes. It installs. 3) I spend many hours making a project. Then when I go to export it... 4) "You are using the free version of this updated software. Would you like to export with watermark, or purchase the watermark-free version?" 5) I click neither, and opt to go back to the previous version of Filmora that I had already purchased. 6) The project that I spent many hours working will not open in the previous version. Thus, I have to choose between paying for the new version, exporting with a watermark, or starting the project all over again. I fell for this once, forgot about it, then fell for it again today. I am sadly paying for yet another update of Filmora that I don't necessarily want, but am forced to pay for lest I lose many hours of work. They won't fool me again. Even though I purchased their latest update today, I'm immediately deleting the program and never using it again.

Waste of time and money!

Comments: I bought and downloaded Filmora12 for my PC. The program immediately and constantly began crashing. It is unusable. I tried to contact the customer service, but it is impossible via their webpage. I was forced to leave negative comments via their Facebook page to get any attention. They responded by asking for my email. They continued to give me the run-around via email instead of providing a refund. What was supposed to be a long weekend full of productivity has been reduced to wasted time and money due to Wondershare/Filmora. Overall, extremely horrible experience due to a bad product and horrible service!

Pros:

Was supposed to be my chief video editing program. Layout looks good and the feature list is great.

Cons:

Does not work. Immediately began crashing.feature list does not matter when it isn't usable.Customer service is impossible to contact.Company does not care about the customers and will only give you the run-around.

Better than other similarly priced choices

Comments: I use filmora to edit videos for my youtube platform and the best benefit for me in using it is that it doesn't crash as much as iMovie (I know macs aren't supposed to crash but sometimes they do) AND you can do simple trims of videos without even adding them to the timeline- you can do it in the preview box.

Pros:

Filmora is easy to use for simple tasks like editing video and creating videos from photos and audio.

Cons:

No specific cons with the software itself but one drawback of using it is that unlike imovie, there aren't thousands and thousands of tutorial videos on youtube, and not everyone is using it, so it takes a few more minutes to dig up information on how to do a specific task.

An app for everyone

Comments: If since 2016 I'm still using the software, it means that I love the software, and I've had a good experience, I can do wonders because I believe that the power is not only in the software but in the video editor itself, who knows how to bring editing to life.

Pros:

Excluding the fact that I'm a Video Maker in the company, since 2016 I edit my videos for my YouTube channel with Filmora and the software and performance have already evolved a lot, it's good, it's easy and it's simple, beginners and experts at edition can use this software.

Cons:

It's not all flowers, I'm against the fact that Filmora in full 2021 lacks resources, I was super happy when they added in the update ''make animation'' but still lack resources and need to put more resources for age above 18, it has some very childish templates, but it's nothing they can't improve.
