Takes presentations to another level

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Pitch is a great product for internal and external comms, creating presentation that look professional and slick. It's super easy to use and gets great feedback from the team.

Pros:

I love pitch for how easy it is to create a smart, polished-looking presentation. You can drag/drop elements easily and the selection to choose from all look great and tied together. It handles data well and creates smart-looking visuals. It's easy to collaborate on and I enjoy the tools to indicate which slides are in progress or done. We use Pitch for our weekly all hands meeting and the team love it.

Cons:

There's really nothing I dislike about Pitch. There are some extra features I'd love to see added but there's nothing in the existing product that I think doesn't work or meet my expectations.

I love Pitch and I design presentations for a living

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Pitch is the next step in tooling for presentation design. Our agency specializes in making decks all day, and tools like Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides all have their benefits, but they especially all have downsides. Pitch is the closest thing to a perfect tool that we've come across, and we keep converting our clients too.

Pros:

First off, I'm a presentation designer and offer it as a service of my design agency, so I spend a huge amount of my time using presentation tools and have experience using all of them. High-quality templates that look great and are easy to use. Plus there are enough design "guardrails" that help keep your slides looking great, but not too restrictive that they block any design you're trying to pull off.

Cons:

The only downside to Pitch is pretty temporary! I'm currently using it in beta, and until public launch you have to invite someone outside of your company domain to Pitch for them to be able to use it. This problem disappears once they launch, so it's pretty minor!

Pretty Skin but lacking functionality

2.0 3 years ago

Comments: Pretty awful. Poor experience.

Pros:

Easy collaboration. This is too short of a review but there is very little that is good about this.

Cons:

Requires update and reinstallation daily. No basic slide design features. No alignments features. Minimal capabilities for creating flows. No smart art for building diagrams. Slow to load. Lacks most features that I would expect out of a deck creation tool.

Sublimely easy to use

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: 100% delighted. I have told 20+ people about this tool already. I've saved well over 100 hours worth of work, using this new ( exceptional ) tool. I've tried Slidebean, Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Slides. Pitch's tool is 10X better than any other competitor in the market.

Pros:

The templates are spectacular! These, alone, saved me 100+ hours of work. The integration of graphics, photos, icons, and logos, all embedded in the platform, saves me time. I no longer have to search google for the right images. They are at my fingertips. The graphing tool is incredibly easy to use. No more wasted hours, trying to build a simple "up and to the right" graph. It's a direct import, straight from your excel file. Pitch is the best product on the market..! Period. Full Stop.

Cons:

The cons are pretty minimal. Their customer support is spectacular. I know, because I asked them for a feature, and they are already working on it. The con that I see so far; Pitch's graphic shapes are pretty slim. There is not much variety. I would like more "arrows" and other shapes, typically found in PowerPoint.

Game Changer for Pitch Deck Creation and Presentation

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall it has been a great software to use when making and editing Pitch decks especially when coordinating with other team members in charge of the content inside the presentation.

Pros:

I like that there is only a small learning curve when using the software as the interface is very similar to using other slide presentation softwares. The templates to use look professional and makes the presentation of information effective.

Cons:

Sometimes the text misaligns when exporting to PDF even if the text is locked. You also need to be on fullscreen mode because the objects also sometimes displace when your Pitch App window is smaller.

A low-effort solution for creating professional looking pitch decks

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall, it's the best solution i've tried so far!

Pros:

I was able to find a template with graphics relevant to my use case and that looked professional

Cons:

It would be nice to see some more generic icons and imagery, for example, the template I used requires user interface imagery to go into the iphone device outline. I needed to find a UI Kit and edit it to produce something for this purpose, whereas if there were generic options I could have used one of those

I use Pitch everyday - it's now my main software for company reports

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: I use it daily for 2+ hours a day. I switched recently from Piktochart and i love it.

Pros:

Solid software. LOVE how they have a downloadable app, it makes the functionality so much better (even though it is still web-based). Templates are professional and fresh. Amazing for company reports, internal training videos (can do it in-app, like LOOM but better and easier) and pitch decks.

Cons:

It doesn't save your uploaded content library unless you pay.

This is by far the best product for any company presentation

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall, I would say they have a big potential and doing some amazing things. If I could save it from my competitors, I would try but team deserve growth and appreciation. We love it.

Pros:

We have been using it from last 9 months and it's truly a game changer for us. This product will replace one of the most dominating presentation software in market very soon. I personally like the UI/UX along with templates and options to customisation with almost everything you can think. Charts building and team collaboration is one of the mostly liked feature by us.

Cons:

As of now, we didn't see anything that we don't like. The web version was bit unstable lately but that was due to browser issue which we got to know later. Support is helpful enough to guide on issues.

Modern presentation software

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Great overall exprience.

Pros:

The best thing is their focus on design – helps anyone create a stunning presentation without much effort. Other things like templates, presentation styles, and collaborative features vastly improve workflows compared to anything that's out there.

Cons:

Nothing urgent or critical. They recently launched the Google Sheets and Analytics integration, which is what I'd been waiting for. I hope there are more such integrations in the future.

Pitch Review

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Pitch is really cool! I am very impressed by how friendly it is to non-designer and all of the gorgeous templates it has. As a designer myself, I was blown away. It's also all very friendly to your own branding and colors!

Pros:

Pitch is great for making clean and professional slideshows! It's easy to implement your own branding and customize the UI! Even if you're not a designer there are lots of beautiful templates that will help you create an awesome presentation!

Cons:

Exporting on Pitch is a headache. If you don't pay you can't export your slideshow which makes Google Slides, Canva and Keynote a lot more attractive to businesses.

Slick Decentralised Presentation Tool

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Satisfyingly fast.

Pros:

Three things (1) Pitch is so simple to use any member of the team can jump in and start contributing within minutes. (2) The ability to combine Vimeo and Loom links into the deck makes it a uniquely versatile design communication tool. (3) Being able to share links to individual slides and full presentations to anyone is great for communicating development to clients and third parties alike, keeping them focussed on the most relevant aspects of the project.

Cons:

Some of the things I'd like to see covered as the product matures is a focus on shouting about stability (it seems very stable) and the ability to review the history of a presentation e.g. restore parts of a presentation that have accidentally been deleted, are big 'known unknowns' still. These are by no means deal-breakers as the plusses hugely outweigh the minuses.

PowerPoint is dead?

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Some businesses use PowerPoint or PowerPoint Online. We were perhaps the dark sheep of that family, as we moved from the first product towards Google Slides. But I've been testing Pitch for a while and I see it as the best out of the three. Not just its ease of use, but the feeling you get when playing around with a template - it makes you feel powerful and creative, not barren and stressed.

Pros:

Speed and templates are the 2 things that make Pitch amazing. Not just the speed you feel when using the product, but also of the product development. Weekly releases means if something broken, not working or missing, there are chances you'll see it next week. Templates make it easy for me (a non-designer) to deliver great-looking presentations without thinking about presets, rule of thirds, etc. And new ones are added on a constant basis.

Cons:

Moving over from Google Slides to this takes a bit of time to get used to. Some elements like pinpoint ruler accuracy are not here (yet), so we sort of lack/miss the Slides interface. While not beautiful, Google's implementation of "PowerPoint" was very simple and Pitch sometimes makes you hunt for those options. If not a complete overhaul, I'd take at least a configurable interface/toolbar.

Pitch is amazing for collaborating on decks

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

What I loved about pitch was creating together with my teammates and being able to add humour and personality to our slides using the GIFs.

Cons:

There are a few functionalities that are less intuitively implemented, eg. when you want to drag & drop a group of items. Also, I'd love to see that we could add notes to the customized links to keep track of which one belongs to who.

Pros:

Ability to create strict templates, do project management in the tool, and ease of use. I also love the transparency around all the new features that Pitch is developing.

Cons:

It is still early software, so there are still some missing features. Pitch has been rolling out a tremendous amount of updates though, so I'm confident they will get there soon.
