Decent website integration

Comments: Overall it is really nice to be able to show the dates and times classes have available slots (or if there's a waitlist). I think that's a great feature - I just wish we had more control over the look and feel of events.

Pros:

JavaScript integration for classes to appear on the website is great - I can easily customize the look and feel to match the gym's brand.

Cons:

Events can only be embedded on the website through iframes, which means the fonts and colors don't align with our brand.

Best for a youth tuition program

Comments: Customer service is great. They are always available and always personable. They know their product, and are able to help navigate errors and suggestions for improvement.

Pros:

Tracking Revenue, scheduling, payment processing for tuition, calendar features, employee management integrations.

Cons:

It’s challenging to do both adult drop in type scheduling in addition to youth tuition scheduling. We had to adapt, and drop adults daily from classes to allow them to re-enroll each week. The system doesn’t automatically drop. “Weekly” classes that are ongoing, are harder to manage.

Easy to use, does 85% of what I require and has simplified our systems.

Essential to Gym Management

Comments: Almost all positive! We use it daily and would only consider switching if iclasspro had great alternatives to the above mentioned problems.

Pros:

We love Jackrabbit Class! Our gym wouldn't function without it. My favorite features is how fast and friendly customer service is. I always have a positive experience with customer service.

Cons:

The private lesson scheduling system (or lack thereof) and that we can't have a check-out feature for summer camp. We would also like more zapier integrations.

Comments: It has been really good, especially with the new features.

Pros:

It is easy to use. I like all of the recent inhancements. We have used it for about 7 years now and we are always discovering something new it does.

Cons:

We would have really liked some one on one training. I believe you have it available but we have not taken advantage of it.

Easy to use, clear software for class and member management

Pros:

I like the easy to use layout of Jackrabbit and the ability to automate so many of our regular tasks. JackRabbit presents our calendar and class listings in easy to understand formats and allows for quick registration, account management and payments for our customers.

Cons:

There are some areas in JackRabbit that need an update. Such as events. And sometimes I feel like we have to go through repetitive steps to do one task.

Easy to use

Comments: The system has been easy to use and families seem to be able to navigate it well.

Pros:

We use Jackrabbit Class to help manage enrollment and tuition payments for a after school program. It's great to have all I need in one place.

Cons:

When families come back and re-enroll in a new class year after year the system does not allow me to prompt families to update their information. For example when a family registers and say the student is in Kinder and they come back the next year unless the family chooses/remembers to update the information they will be listed as a Kinder unless I make the change internally.

Great Program but could be improved

Pros:

I like all of the new improvements. I like that there is a forum for us to submit ideas.

Cons:

I do not like that the improvements seem to be slowly rolling out. I do not like that individual classes are much harder to manage than group classes.

Muti-use program

Comments: We have had a very positive experience with Jackrabbit. It does everything we need it to do, and it’s user friendly enough that it doesn’t take long when we need to figure out something we haven’t used it for before.

Pros:

We run classes, open gyms, birthday parties, and track out and summer camps. Jackrabbit has the ability for us to be able to keep all of those things in order. We can quickly pull up a family and see ALL the things they are registered for and all the information associated with their account and payments.

Cons:

Occasionally we will find something that we need to charge a group for and have to find work arounds - for example we have some kids that will get pizza on Fridays and we have to charge the group. The group changes every week so we have had to find work arounds, but really not a big deal.

Amazing Program, Unparalleled Customer Support, Learning Curve

Comments: Fantastic. Mainly because of the support staff. Anytime I've had an issue it was promptly resolved and explained to me with visual aids. They have helped me learn this software and have made my job easier on a daily basis.

Pros:

This software has nearly limitless options for you to manage a gymnastics facility. The customer support team is knowledgeable, punctual, helpful, and courteous. Experience using this program and purchasing from this company has been wonderful.

Cons:

The software has a pretty steep learning curve for unfamiliar users. But, it is my belief that highly capable software always comes with a learning curve. I couldn't boot up Adobe Complete Suite and edit a movie without hours of training. Same goes for this software. You need to take the time to learn it, but once you do it really helps manage a business like gymnastics.

Jackrabbit for Sports Class Management

Comments: Taken as a whole, we believe Jackrabbit to be the best option for sports class management, and we have seen none better. I have been a Jackrabbit user for 11 years.

Pros:

Jackrabbit is very robust. It does a lot and it does it very well. Automated payments and fee postings with complicated discount rule options is a HUGE time-saver. Love the staff portal and the parent portal- this also saves our front desk a LOT of time! Support is very detailed and quick! Reports are mostly well-handled. Overall we think Jackrabbit is the best on the market at this time.

Cons:

Wish list to improve our experience with Jackrabbit: smoother and more complete app integration with the Mobile Inventor app, option for door access integration, which we would use for child care and the fitness facilities, better wording for adults registering themselves into adult-level classes, parents able to remove their children from waitlists in the portal, an online store option, and a REAL booking module for private lessons. And a BIG one- the email function. You have to understand code to be able to do what you want, or at least able to understand it enough to copy and manipulate a newsletter code and JR offers no support for it- this is, in my opinion, a big miss. Not being able to populate someone's name or balance into an email is a big miss, too. We have to adjust emails manually a lot and it is time consuming- something we don't have to do in our fitness gym management software.

I love Jackrabbit!

Comments: I love it! it's easy, saves time, and is not too expensive!

Pros:

Jackrabbit is very easy to use and is hard to mess up. When training someone I tell them there is nothing they can do that can't be undone. That's nice to be able to say that. We have used Jackrabbit for 12 years and I wouldn't even look at another data base.

Cons:

I think some of the reporting features are confusing in their wording for filters. Most of Jackrabbit is written in a way that pretty much anyone can use it. The reporting is more confusing. We also would love to be able to split automatic payments between parents since we have so many divorced parents these days.

Jackrabbit Gymnastics for Music Studios

Pros:

An all-around system that includes messaging options, statistics, data, staff logging, and PoS capabilities. It is, generally speaking, a very competent one stop software for 90% or more of what you might need.

Cons:

Very option heavy UI takes a good while to learn, and isn't very intuitive. Calendar integration and options are very lack luster, to the point that we don't use the jackrabbit calendar at all. Integration with Gsuite or Apple Calendar would be a godsend for this software - preferably without using Zapier

Review for Jack Rabbit for Gym owners

Pros:

Online registration, automatic drafts for tuition, class rolls

Cons:

Waitlist option will not automatically notify you when an opening is in a class. You have to monitor it daily, weekly etc

Love this system!

Pros:

The ease of registration, attendance tracking, and online payment. It is so easy to keep track of things that we need as a business.

Cons:

Some things are needed to be updated and made easier for the user to use and set up. And I was there was an option to add Square payments to Jackrabbit because that's how some of our payments are taken in person.

Great product and service!

Its simple and well thought out. Great customer service and self help articles.

It NEEDS a mobile version for the administrative platform (not just for coaches).

Comments: Jackrabbit is an excellent gym management tool! It has come a long way over the years of my usage. I started just as a reception/admin assistant user and now run the show. I am still learning tricks! lol…

Jackrabbit listens to their users and is constantly trying to make things better.

Showtime Gymnastics Academy

Pros:

The biggest pro is information available through Jackrabbit help. Whenever I wasn't sure about something the answer was there. Customer service through submitting a ticket is also great! Super fast and helpful!

Cons:

I can be difficult to get to the best way to do certain things because of the different ways to accomplish the same task.

We love Jackrabbit Gymnastics!

It keeps us organized and up to date. We could not do without it.

I wish we could schedule emails to go out that would then utilize the current class enrollment at the time the scheduled email goes out.

Jackrabbit is the Solution

Pros:

Jackrabbit makes it easy to create a class management and online payment system all in one location! It was the solution we were looking for and has taken our business to the next level by making everything seamless.

Cons:

It just took some time to figure out aspects of how to implement some things in the beginning. Initial setup was very, very easy, and then customizing beyond that takes patience. Would like to see the ability to send parents progress reports.

Good overall, a lot of room for improvement

Comments: Jackrabbit is still overall a good tool, it can be frustrating at times trying to find a report that may or may not fit your criteria. The user interface feels clunky and the learning curve is steep.

Pros:

Jackrabbit does a great job at class setup, you can go as granular or generic as you want. The parent portal is good for online payments. The fees for online payments are pretty reasonable as of the typing of this review. Our other users report that customer support is knowledgeable and responsive.

Cons:

Jackrabbit has a lot of room for improvement in the below ways in my opinion: -Providing an intuitive user experience -Task and email automation -The ability to filter on gym data from generated reports -The ability to create custom reports -User friendly and visually appealing reporting on gymnast skill progress (myskillchart is on the right track). -Easy integration to 3rd party CRMs
