Comments: Overall I am very happy I stumbled upon this platform - I have learn more making my own actors than I would have paying for some low performing apps

I love that you can easily review and test multiple actors on the market, interact with the developers and do more

Cons:

It was a steep learning forever to begin but got the hang of it quickly

I think Apify is an incredible platform!

Comments: Once I found it and figured out how it worked I was able to dump my US$600 a month Pitchbox software and get 10x the amount of marketing emails for 1/10th the cost.

Pros:

I can easily, quickly and cheaply scrape the web for marketing emails. Its so good I cannot believe how good it is. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Cons:

There isn't anything I dislike about Apify.

Apify is great

Comments: I've used Apify to source data for several different projects and found the platform quite helpful.

Pros:

Apify's web scrapers have made it easy not just to pull down data from many of the sources I care about, but also to do so in a very affordable manner. Its proxies are also more reliable than other platforms I've used, which makes me more confident that I can get at the data I need, when I need it.

Cons:

I know there is more I could be getting out of the platform in terms of customization, but I would need to brush up on my JSON to do so.

Comments: Apify is an indispensable part of my tech stack. Their platform is both the easiest and most powerful web scraping tool.

Pros:

Apify is incredibly powerful, yet flexible. There are virtually no limits to what web scraping tools you can build using it.

Cons:

For non-developers like myself, there is a learning curve. Easier error codes for non-technical users like myself would help me build actors much quicker.

Data scraping without pain

Comments: The easiest platform to just jump in and start solving your problems

Pros:

1) ease of integration 2) ui where all is easily available 3) maintenance - the fact that containers i use are always up to date made me abandon my own custom scripts 4) magic proxy management - this is the last thing i want to do manually or even think about, and yet it is the most crucial part

Cons:

Not actually an apify problem, but i have a couple of usecases where i really would have wanted a fast responce which i'm not entirely sure how to achieve now.

Comments: It is a fully functional software for our requirements, it helps us to get data from different web pages, although I am not a web developer we use this software to extract data automatically, the scrapers are easy to use, the web scrapes are excellent and well dated.

Pros:

I really like the interface as it is simple, I can extract data from any website, the automation to extract data is precise, I like it because it makes our work much easier, it has a good selection of scrapers, programming crawls is very easy.

Cons:

In the time that we have been using Apify we have not had any problems, it has helped us to solve problems that were very complicated for us manually, it is a software with an excellent ROI.

Good Tools, Great Support, and Swift Developer Responses

Comments: Overall, my experience has been very positive.

Pros:

- Trial period with credits to test a few APIs and integrations. The limit was high enough for me to get a good idea of the APIs I want to use and find one that works well for me. - Direct communication with the developers. I had a small issue which was resolved immediately. I also made a suggestion for one more data point to be extracted. It was added in no time, which was fantastic. - Support and Apify tour - the chance to talk to somebody from the team about the platform and for them to recommend sections and features based on your needs and use case. I had a session with Cait. She was brilliant, answered all my questions and suggested functionalities that I hadn't discovered but will definitely make use of going forward. - Swift approval of my application for student discount. Took 2 minutes to get an approval after my application.

Cons:

Can't say that I have anything negative to say do far. If I need to add one, that would be price. I have no direct comparison as I have not tested any alternatives. And since I have no time to search for alternative solutions (dissertation deadline fast approaching) and I am happy with this one so far - I will go with it. During my Apify tour, Cait did suggest that students can apply for Student discount. I wish I had known / applied for it before I had moved on to Starter plan. As a student, I am paying for everything by myself and I can already say that I will need to spend $200+ to get the data that I need.

For automating all web-based processes, Apify is the best option!

Great SDK for web-data extraction

Comments: It's been great working with Apify. We recently switched to it from Scrapy & haven't regret this decision at all.
It's much more performant & more robust against anti-scraping.

Pros:

The SDK is open-source and very easy to use in our own projects. Next to that there is solid documentation & an easy to use user-interface. We like that this software allows us to scrape in JavaScript, the language of the web, as opposed to Python.

Cons:

We haven't used the fully managed solution much so not much to say about it. The SDK had some bugs that we had to make PR's for but at least we were able to do so & the team was very responsive in resolving these issues.

Developing Friendly Scraping Solution

The best feature on apify is their own free web scraping. They provide a variety of ready-made common web scraping tasks such as reviews and posts from familiar websites.

Cons:

My organisation and I have nothing to dislike about apify but their pricing is very unfair from them,they have no clear billing as far as we are concerned .Also their customer care support is a worst nightmare from them Overall;

Apify turns web extraction into a fun task

Pros:

Apify proxy and automation APIs for the web are the easiest to test and deploy. It takes less than an hour for an automation developer to use Apify and turn any web page into a full-blown API. With a typical cloud provider like AWS. there's a lot of moving parts like task queue management that Apify simply takes care of without asking too much of developer's time.

Cons:

API and onboarding documentation could be simplified.

Apify Gets the Job Done, But Lacks the Refinement of Custom Crawling

Apify Tools Stability and the Responsive Data Source Connectors are Perfect.

Comments: The Apify features are easy on navigation and the access control tools and the reporting features are very excellent.

Pros:

Easy adjusting Apify functions for better and effective quality services generation and the multiple Websites data extraction and excellent mapping capability provided by Apify are profitable.The platform still allows secure data verification and the analytical options and data visualization using Apify features is cost effective.

Cons:

Nice and easy multiple projects data migration tool which on my first time was easy and nothing for me to dislike from all Apify features.

THE Scraping Platforma You Need

Comments: I used to build and execute web scrapers on my local computer and then push them to another server for executing or take the lazy man's approach and run them locally. Apify broaden my awareness on web scraping and allowed me to still develop my code locally, but gave me a platform that allows me to schedule and reuse all of my code.

Pros:

There are too many best parts about Apify to list but most notable things I enjoy are the Apify Cheerio and Puppeteer libraries provided as my code's base, the built in data storage mechanisms to save and retrieve my scraping data, scheduling my scrappers, and the marketplace that has hundreds of other "actors" you can use. Oh, and the provided proxies that make this all possible.

Cons:

I can't think of any cons about using this software. I recommend this to everyone!

Comments: It is usual for developers to look for REST endpoints on those other webpages in order to access information in a structured manner such as JSON. Nevertheless, it's not like all websites have created unique REST APIs; in this case, Apify is really useful.

My favorite part about apify is the proxy management and rotation. Traditionally this is a nightmare for me and I love the completely managed proxy rotation and management.

Cons:

The pricing is a little bit high. I wish that I could access the pay as you go pricing of actors/proxies without having to pay for a $50/month subscription.

KORA WORKS - TikTok Scraping for Music Influencer Marketing

Pros:

It's made our job much easier as most of what we do revolves around tracking our campaigns and how they are performing. So it's much better than going in & individually recording data on each video we work with. Now we get results in minutes and have plugged it into our database so our dashboard can update with newest data & clients know how their campaigns are progressing daily!

Cons:

It's not the easiest to understand at first. A colleague of mine who is more familiar with tech & data was able to figure it out but for the rest of us, it's not as easy to understand the functions/how to make things work at first.

Makes web automation a piece of cake

Comments: As a developer, I probably can't imagine a better tool that balances the power and flexibility with the ease of use. Also, taking into account the great customer support, it makes it one of the best services I have ever tried.

Pros:

Apify lets you focus on developing the core functionality without the need to manage any infrastructure. The API is really awesome in that it lets you integrate with other tools easily (either directly or via tools like Zapier or Integromat). And using webhooks, you can chain actors to build even more sophisticated data pipelines.

Cons:

There were a couple of moments where I couldn't find the information I was looking for in the documentation and had to find out using trial and error.

Tool that makes task easy

Pros:

I like User Interface because it is very easy to navigate and straight forward. Easy to integrate and gives accurate output that helps in improving productivity and scalability. It saves lots of time and money. Recommend tool for data extraction and scripting.

Cons:

Yes, In my opinion tool is little bit costly, it's need to be reduced and makes affordable.
