Great product for Tutor companies

have been fabulous. They are polite and friendly and we recieve quick responses, with helpful information and guidance on how we can get the best from the system. With best practices, little tips and tricks, we can meet many of our business needs and digital transformation aspirations with Tutor Cruncher. They also pro actively contact us and offer to walk us through additional functionality which may fit our business set up. I would highly recommend Tutor Cruncher to a Tutoring Company.

Pros:

It is clear to see that the system has been designed and developed by someone who knows the tutoring world. The functionality and features are fabulous, we got up and running really quick and the benefits it bought to our team were great. We were working quicker with less errors and better communication with our Tutors.

Cons:

We are a small business and cant' afford to pay for the development of our bespoke processes. However, as a start up, there is so much potential for Tutor Cruncher to grow. All of our processes are not currently supported by Tutor Cruncher, however many of our business requirements are met. It is an exciting journey to be on with Tutor Cruncher, as they are open to our feedback and ideas for additional functionality for the system to be driven forward and grow as a product. I cant wait to see additional processes in the future.

Comments: Overall has been very helpful, allowed us to streamline our process. However, we had to write our own integrations to customize the site for our needs

Pros:

I really like the customizability, and the amount of features offered. Pipeline is great, calendar is great, statistics/analytics that we can see is amazing

Cons:

Sometimes it feels a bit rigid, and would like a bit more customizability. Also if more things were in the API this would be useful, I know you cannot add labels through the API so if the API was fully open this would be helpful in allowing companies have more customizability

Reasons for Switching to TutorCruncher: TutorCruncher was the best priced, also it offered a really in depth and really specialized software for tutoring

Comments: Average. It's difficult to determine if we've outgrown Tutor cruncher because our business has grown or if Tudor cruncher just doesn't have the capabilities that we need or want in a system

Pros:

Tudor cruncher has significantly simplified our invoicing process and saved us time at the end of the month on that aspect of our business. It has also worked well for sharing tutoring needs with our teachers and tutors

Cons:

The limitations around putting multiple parents on one account has caused a lot of headache. Additionally, the lack of clarity and consistency on the billing side has caused frustration and concerns. We've also been frustrated with the system reverting back to stripe when we have set clients up on the direct debit go cardless option and that has caused a client to be charged when they should not have been charged. Further, the ability to make adjustments to a bill once a payment order has been sent has caused us to have to pay fees multiple times because we've just had to delete the invoice and resend it and then it's confusing on the client's end because it looks like they've been billed twice. Additionally, we have locations and tutors in three cities and while many of the jobs are virtual, so open to any team member. It would be a lot nicer if we could cipher out clients and tutors by location in a different format

Effective solution for managing your tuition business

Comments: Overall, the team are very responsive and support where they can. The roadmap for the development of Tutorcruncher is interesting and will fix some of the issues I currently have within my business.

Pros:

I have been using Tutorcruncher for 3 years and it provides a great solution for my business. It helps me to schedule and manage my team and clients and the general running of my business. The team are really responsive to queries.

Cons:

There are some features that can be 'clunky' for example, the ability to integrate it with other apps to automate my operations. The payment is also problematic as it isn't always clear on the invoicing what the costs are for, meaning some confusion for my accountant.

Great overall experience

Comments: Great tutoring portal- probably the best on the market at the moment. But it's still expensive to use and not the most user friendly. Support is great.

Pros:

It has nearly all of the features required to run a tutoring business and has helpful tutorials that I can send to clients and tutors, instead of spending time explaining to them how to use it.

Cons:

Lots of bugs when trying to login. I and my tutors encounter these regularly. I have highlighted these to the admins but they don't seem to think there is an issue. The fees and Stripe Split payments system is very expensive and is too slow to release funds. Tutors are not happy that they have to wait 7 working days to get paid.

Comments: Positive and straightforward. Always on hand to answer questions.

Pros:

Ease of use and customer service is excellent.

Cons:

The fees are a little high when you take into account the tax charged by TC on every transaction as well.

Comments: It's been good. I'm still learning the system, but rely on my co-worker to help tutor me on things that I didn't realize I could do.

Pros:

The ease of getting jobs out to potential tutors, the way we can set up new clients. our record of seeing clients and invoicing them.

Cons:

When a tutor applies for a job, but has questions, I cannot reply back to them. I would like a way to respond to their questions directly from tutor cruncer

Comments: TutorCruncher is the backbone of my company and I couldn’t function without the software. All of my invoicing, student jobs, and client details and stored and managed securely in TutorCruncher. Would highly recommend.

Pros:

Being able to professionally handle invoicing for clients

Cons:

There isn’t a feature available that tracks if tutors are submitting their lesson reports late

Comments: Positive! As an administrator, it helps me keep track of day to day tasks, as well as the status of various tutoring assignments.

Cons:

Limited Customization for Advanced Needs:There may be limitations when it comes to advanced or highly specific requirements. Some of the requirements can't be set to the platform. Technical problem: There is maintenance when I use the platform, sometimes is disturbs my work and I need to wait until maintenance has finished.

Pros:

Easy to use and effective software for managing a tuition business. Includes everything from initial contact to requesting and taking payments and paying tutors.

Cons:

Expensive, particularly when card processing fees are added.

Great software to manage our service

Pros:

Highly customisable and scalable software bespoke for the tutoring, teaching and education industry

Cons:

There are always various feature requests as customers want enhancements to the product, but it's not clear when the updates can be expected. For example, I would like to export out a list of balance updates, which seems like a feature that is easy to implement, but this is not possible.

A simple and effective tutoring management system

Comments: We have had a very positive experience with TutorCruncher, with positive feedback from our tutors and clients too. It has allowed us to manage the lessons that take place, the ones that are rescheduled and the ones that are cancelled. All users are notified and it has streamlined our invoicing process.

Pros:

TutorCruncher has streamlined my business by ensuring that all lessons are clearly accounted for, and that parents are able to review feedback in a timely manner.

Cons:

A bulk import of tutors and clients would be an incredible feature to save time for users. Unfortunately this has not been available and it has been very time consuming adding multiple students, clients and tutors to the system.

Tutorcruncher - an excellent tutoring solution

Comments: It was a breeze to use. Information on each tutor and student was easy to both input and recall.
The accounting system is excellent. The whole package is really user friendly.

Pros:

Such an easy system to use. Everything is there at the touch of a button and it is easy to keep track of what each tutor and learner are doing.

Cons:

I couldnt fault Tutorcruncher to be honest. Once I had worked out what each section could do and linked to I found the whole set up really easy.

Best CRM system for Tuition companies

Comments: Great CRM and payment system. The only one that is compliment in UK too.

TutorCruncher Saves Time and Makes us Better

Pros:

We love the ease of tutor matching, scheduling tutoring sessions, and sending invoices in TutorCruncher. It has saved us so much time compared to the system we used previously.

Cons:

We wish that we were able to customize TutorCruncher more to fit our specific company's needs.

Intuitive - integrates with lesson space. Keeps a record of everything for the team to see.

Sometimes hard to know what has been sent. Some clunkiness in how pages work.

Easy to upload new clients to the scheduling calendar.

Cons:

When you need to delete students on calendars when they have not been 'repeated' when scheduling. Time consuming deleting individual sessions on the calendar.

An essential platform adding value to your tutoring

Comments: Excellent help and support with set up and also quick response time for questions and issues

Pros:

I like the integration of booking appointment, automatic reminders, welcome emails for customers and the fact that my whole business is finally in one place

Cons:

When I first used tutorcruncher I thought the teaching space was included, however it is an add on which is another monthly expense on top I also find the invoicing quite difficult to navigate so haven’t used it.
