"Treating their customers with utter contempt of normal business practices and even the law"

Comments: I am the owner and developer of the Deriscope financial application that is licensed to banks and other financial institutions over my deriscope.com website.
I had opted for RevenueWire in summer 2018 as the payment processor that would enable my prospective customers to pay for acquiring one of my licenses. My choice was based mostly on low cost considerations. I had read several very negative online reviews but I thought they come from competitors and din't take them seriously.
In the beginning all went relatively smoothly although there were occasions where I got really scared, as when I was told that American Express cards cannot be processed in the case of "simple accounts" like mine!
Exactly one year after I signed with them, I received an email from their compliance department notifying me that my account would be suspended in 30 days due to sales being below some threshold. They never mentioned what the threshold was and never answered to any of my inquiries as to why they had not mentioned anything about such a threshold before signing the contract with me!
The complete lack of any email or other communication made me feel I was dealing with a criminal ring rather than with a business entity.
It took me substantial effort and time to eventually find another payment processing company (FastSpring) and integrate it with the rest of my business.

Pros: The only short lived benefit was a somewhat lower cost due to their offering of a bundle with a license management service.

Cons: RevenueWire suddenly discontinued their service with only a one-month notice by their compliance department. No real reason was offered apart from a vague "revenues falling below expected levels". Nowhere in our agreement was stated that their service would cease if my sales were below some threshold.
It is actually very common among most first-time businesses that sales are low during the initial phase.
