"Mandrill"
Comments: Mandrill has been great to help reduce the amount of time I spend on each client of ours. I have the ability to check email faster and help more people.
Pros: Mandrill is great to backtrack on emails that my company has sent out. We have the ability to view if the email was delivered, bounced, and how many times it has been sent + opened and clicked on. The features of mandrill are great for the company because we rely heavily on mandrill in order to see that.
Cons: At this moment, I can't think of a negative effect of mandrill. It is very easy to use and easy to maneuver around.

"My favorite tool of email marketing"
Comments: I use mailchimp for years, and to me is the best option. Good statistics, good delivery and easy to use in the most of times.
Pros:
I send mails everyday. I love the option to write in "text-plane" and schedule the email for later.
I love the mail test, because I can send to my team and have feedback previous to deliver to suscribers.
Cons: Maybe the price. Is little expensive versus other options. And the automation is not intuitive. Is complicated create a funnel.

"Perfect client for managing and sending transactional emails"
Comments: It allows us to maintain perfect email delivery for all our companies' transactional emails and easily troubleshoot instances where emails were not delivered.
Pros: This application is an addon of MailChimp and is best suited for transactional emails (automated emails, think 'forgot my password' type emails). It allows you to easily manage your sending domains , although you have to verify these before you can send emails. The best feature by far is the ability to view all emails that were sent or failed to arrive, including the contents of the emails and the reason it bounced. This allows us to quickly troubleshoot whenever we get a support ticket regarding an email that did not arrive. During our 6 months of using this feature, there has been zero downtime.
Cons: It is more expensive than some competitors, but its pricing model is very fair and easy to interpret. It does require you to have at least a monthly subscription with Mailchimp, and if you are not using this it is more expensive.

"Mailchimp a flexible email marketing platform"
Comments: I am very satisfy with the use of MC. Of course could have some more fancy features, but OK with what you have now.
Pros: Mailchimp is easy to start using it from the beginning and has a lot of tutorials that are very well explained in case there are some features you lack experience. I also like there email collecting feature and WP plugin
Cons: There are some features you can not use properly like autoresponders or the average credit system for delivering emails.

"Solid Tool for Nurturing an Audience"
Comments: 9/10. Gotta have it if you want to grow a community or business. You don't know what you don't know until you see how your audience engages with you. Very revealing and help to see what type of subject line gets opened, who in your audience reads every email or doesn't read any of your emails.
Pros:
Professional templates and layouts for simple plain-text messages or super feature-rich emails
analytics are excellent.
Segmenting your audience is great for re-targeting specific member of your audience.
Even the most basic paid option gives you a ton of growth potential and value.
Email building tool has a TON of features to make a kick ass email
Surveys ( a new feature) is a simple way to keep your audience involved
Compliance with 'unsubscribe' feature is essential business practice
Cons: Slight learning curve for importing contact and getting your database setup

"Highly Useful, and Easy to Set Up"
Pros: It is very easy to set up "Sending Domains" and also verify that domain. I use the application weekly and its easily one of the more simple tools I get to use.
Cons: There are times where I would have to delete and re-add domains to get the verification to work.

"Mail Chimp is great to use for email blasts"
Comments: Overall, I really enjoy using MailChimp for where I work. I just know it is a little pricey.
Pros: I love that we are able to make some unique email blasts that we send to our clients and employees with important information about our business
Cons: That it takes a little bit of time to figure out. Once you do, it is very easy and fun to use! They always look great.

"Medicare service. It does the basics, nothing too fancy though."
Comments: Fine, that's about it. It's pretty cheap I guess, and it shows. Not sure if id's choose it again.
Pros: It does the job, and has an easy to use API. Works for the progrematic use we use it for, so we manage scheduling etc. ourselves
Cons: It's very basic, and the website looks like it's stuck in 2010. Doesn't have a lot of features like competitors may have.

"Hands of MailChimp"
Comments: Used MailChimp as an independent contractor for some of my clients. In general, it was widely accepted and well received, mainly at the beginning with the free versions.
Pros: Learning curve a bit challenging but the online chat is very helpful. Mailchimp is a good choice for small to medium size businesses that need diversity, flexibility with lists. The inside technology is always updated and has several third party integrations.
Cons: In latest releases, the new modern looking interfaces are a bit harder to navigate, taking a time for the user to get accustomed. Better if simpler interfaces.

"My Mailchimp Review"
Comments: Overall I like Mailchimp. I like that they have a free plan. Though once you start getting a lot of leads, the price goes up exponentially. Their customer support is not the best.
Pros: I like the easy drag and drop templates and the fact that there is a free plan. For someone just starting out I highly recommend Mailchimp. Even with just the free plan you can have up to 2000 contacts and a lot of different features.
Cons: Mailchimp is not for affiliate marketers, they are very strict about it. They will cancel your account if you do affiliate marketing, so this is not for you if you're an affiliate.

"Great way to track down rogue support tickets!"
Comments: It really helps us see where a problem is happening when an end user doesn't get an email
Pros: I like that it's easy to use and to learn more about what is holding up communications with customers. It gives IP and delivery information that is easy to understand.
Cons: I wish that I could have more history for rejected and failed messages. It doesn't keep them for very long. I also wish that I could view emails that hard-bouced/were rejected in Mandrill so I could see what the customer missed out on.

"Great for personalized emails"
Comments: Mentioned earlier - Mandrill is great to get a high level of reaction via emails. The developers set up customized scripts to send out relevant content to our customers and partners so they are always in the loop.
Pros: Transactional Emails is really necessary in today's world, we get a much better open rate and much better interaction when we use this system rather than a simple mass email message. Totally recommend this set up, and it has the the facilities to set up everything pretty easily. The API documentation is robust, and their service uptime is great, it does what is advertised.
Cons: The fact that I need to have a mailchimp paid account and to get into Mandrill through Mailchimp is a little weird, but it's minor in the grand scheme of things. I don't use Mailchimp, our marketing department uses an alternative, but our developers use Mandrill.

Comments: Overall I was able to manage and track all email marketing activities in one place but was disappointed in the landing pages
Pros: The software is very affordable and great for email marketing for small businesses. Dashboards and automation are very helpful.
Cons: I found that there weren’t a lot of out-of-the-box landing page templates to choose from. The ones that were available were specific to e-commerce and b2c businesses.

"Mr"
Pros: Mandrill is a powerful application that has proven useful for transactional email. They offer an API, decent reporting and storage of track/click data for 30 days.
Cons: As part of Mailchimp they now require both a Mailchimp and Mandrill subscription. I have no problem paying for Mandrill but I'm not a fan of this billing requirement as I don't need Mailchimp. Secondly, in the 2-3 years that I have been using Mandrill I have not seen a single feature release. I find this unusual. True, it works great as-is, but there are definitely areas that can be improved or features that can be added.

"very good tool for email marketing."
Pros: Malichimp is a great tool to enhance our marketing strategies, we repeatedly send campaigns for new products and services to our extensive contact list and to attract potential customers, Mailchimp is very easy to use, its templates easy to handle. It has other very useful functions, we can make a specific follow-up to a contact, see reports of open rates or schedule emails, in general it is a great tool for email marketing.
Cons: We have had problems with some contact, the campaigns reach the spam buson, that something that affects us.

"Mailchimp for business"
Comments: We can send email campaigns in real time or scheduled and we can divide these campaigns based on criterias. It lets us measure how interested people are based on the reports of previous campaigns.
Pros: I’ve used a lot of similar services, but Mailchimp is the best when it comes to interface and user-friendliness. There is a free plan up to 2000 subscribers if you wanna try it. You can do some A/B before actually sending emails. You get statistical reports about how many of your emails have been opened.
Cons: It does not have an integrated CRM system, nor is it prepared to help you channel your sales. You can use other programs for it, but that means you are using more programs and paying more.

"Great, while we had it!"
Pros: I run a busy social network. Around 6,000 users total, and 300-400 online at any given time. Due to this, I needed a transactional email service that had great deliver-ability for invitations, verifications, password changes, etc. Mandrill was recommended to me, and we were completely happy with the service. Unfortunately, when they bundled Mandrill into Mailchimp, we couldn't afford it anymore.
Cons: Unfortunately, bundling services did no favors. What previously was affordable for us no longer was. While the service is great, the way the change was implemented was sudden, leaving companies little time or recourse to find other options quickly. That solidified my decision to leave- most companies would grandfather in existing members, offer a lower rate, something. They simply provided us with addresses for other services, losing customers in the process.
