"TrackSmart for time & attendance"

Comments: I have been using TrackSmart for several years and am pleased with the software for tracking time off and attendance. Reports are easy to run and offer different types of information.

Pros: Very easy to use. Various report options, easy to run. Good applications

"Nice, user friendly and helpful"

Comments: It's helpful but can be more helpful if that could track the correct balances. There is any way that this software can be added to our payroll software? That would be great.

"Exactly What We Need"

Comments: Our company needed an easy, simple solution to tracking PTO. This was exactly what we needed - no more and no less. Other systems will build so much more into the platform than necessary, confusing employees and supervisors alike. TrackSmart keeps it simple, and add-ons are available if you need more out of your attendance tracking. I also LOVE the reports. They've come in handy more than once when someone has disputed his or her PTO balance. Plus, let's face it - as an HR manager of over 125 people, I'm not going to remember every little thing throughout the year. This gives me a great reference archive, built right into the system. TrackSmart works for everyone - admin, supervisors, and employees.

"Wonderful Site, Great Service"

Comments: Truly love this site. Makes tracking time, vacations, anniversaries so easy and mistake free. Would recommend to everyone.

Pros: Easy use, time saver, little issues

Cons: Deleting employees takes a while and usually times out.

"Best option for small companies"

Comments: It's okay for a small company to have an electronic time sheet option. Very cost affordable, just don't expect a lot of features or functionality.

Pros: Low cost option for tracking timesheets.

Cons: Time off requests need to include partial days, time off calculations are off not comparable with time off standards for accural.

"Track smart is awesome, my company has been using it for 3 years now."

Pros: What i like most about the track smart software is it is extremely easy to navigate. Users in the office do not have any issues recording their time

Cons: The least thing I find less admirable about the tracksmart software is the way the overtime is calculated

"Easy to use, great price."

Comments: We used to have each employee on a spreadsheet. Obviously, this makes it so much easier and accurate! Sometimes it doesn't run as fast as I would like it to and there are a few codes I would like to have such as Dr's Appointment, etc. Overall love the system, we have used it for one year.

Pros: The reports feature.

Cons: Need a few more codes

"Excellent Tool!"

Comments: Very Functional! A valuable tool for HR. I appreciate the functionality of employees submitting requests that go straight to their supervisor. Seamless!

Pros: Functionality.

Cons: Need to be able to correct adjustments without a second adjustment.

"Valuable tool"

Comments: I have been using Tracksmart for a couple of years. My only complaint is that it gets glitchy on occasion and customer service isn't helpful. They blame my computer, but every other program works fine. Other than that I find it easy to use and it has been a valuable tool for me. I am happy with my purchase overall.

Pros: Laid out well and easy to use

Cons: It get glitchy and customer service poo poo's me blaming my computer. But I have no other issues with my computer. Glitchy being it'll get held up when I try to open something. And, more recently, I'll use the drop down and it flashes and I have to go off the page and come back on before it'll work normally. I wish I could customize my drop down items.

"TrackSmart Makes My Life Easier"

Comments: Using TrackSmart to record attendance and PTO has been very helpful. Everything is recorded and at your fingertips. The reporting is great for payroll. The employee site seems to be a bit more difficult and I find myself resending password emails occasionally.

Pros: The ease of use for administrative purposes

Cons: Employees and managers sometimes have issues with the software and need emails resent with passwords.

"Affordable and useful for small business"

Comments: For companies that don't have an integrated HRIS, this website is very helpful. Especially with remote employees. We used to use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the PTO calendar. It occasionally collided in our shared network and caused all sorts of problems of lost dates or approvals being reversed. This system was able to give us a solution at a low cost. We also utilize it for our remote employees to track their time.

Pros: requests sent to emails, weekly email stating upcoming PTOs and birthdays/anniversaries and the reports

Cons: managers unable to approve time off - needs to be an admin. Unable to edit absence reasons - would be nice if instead of personal and vacation we could make it "PTO" to match our policy

"Perfect for tracking time off!"

Comments: We have been using TrackSmart for more than 3 years now and love it for tracking time off. The self-service options are great - employees can log in and easily request vacation, etc. and the requests don't get lost amongst all the other email that I receive. I love being able to roll over time when required, and the reporting functions are great for reconciling and reviewing at the end of each year.

Pros: Ease of time tracking - multiple time off banks - self-service functions - reports!

"A Really Good Program"

Comments: I would reccommend this to anyone looking for an attendance program. Very easy to use, easy to set up new employees, and nice reporting.

Pros: It is easy to set up and easy to track attendance.

Cons: I wish there were some different options on the drop down lists. I can't seem to get it to track our vacation and personal days the way ours are set up.

"Great tool for HR managers and similar professions."

Comments: Great software for the price and it is easy to use regardless of computer skills.

Pros: It is very easy to manage and use. The report generator is a great add. The cost vs. other systems is good too.

Cons: When rolling this out in my facility, there was a bug in the system. The bug changed the number of hours that were previously entered. This made some very, very happy and other very, very mad. It has since been fixed but still not a great way to roll out new software.

"New to Human Resources"

Pros: Everything is in one place. I am new to HR and this program makes my job much easier so that I can work on other things and not have to worry about who or who did not give me a time sheet or a time off request because it is all here on this one program!

Cons: It is not very efficient for tracking accrual hours

"Great for our small business!"

Comments: Easy to use and meets the needs of our small business. I wish there were a couple of tweaks like maybe different colors for sick vs. vacation days. Minor in the grand scheme. Definite time saver in tracking absences. Report function is great.

Pros: Report features, weekly email and seeing the calendar. Able to add new employees and their info quickly.

Cons: color coding - wish there was a different visible color used for the type of absence. Ex. green for vacation and red for illness. I know this would be difficult given the number of reasons available - but at least having the option would be nice.

"Totally Awesome software"

Comments: Can track everything I need to.
Great reports and employees can request time off online. They can also see how much PTO / Vacation the have. I would recommend

"TrackSmart and small business."

Comments: As small business managers often wear many hats. In my case, HR is one of mine. I am very pleased with TrackSmart and the ability to record all the necessary areas for my 12 employees. The price is very reasonable and I will continue to be a customer.

Cons: Some of the trackings could be more specific

"Easy to Use"

Comments: We find TrackSmart an easy way to keep everyone informed of individual and company events. The software is easy to use and very flexible.

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: At times the program gets hung up requiring a restart to clear the issue. It would also be nice if the software rejected an approval if the individual does not have time remaining.

"Awesome Product"

Comments: We have been using TrackSmart for several years now and it is the best product. We do not use the time sheet feature so I can't speak for that side but the attendance tracker is awesome. It makes it easy for my employees and for me to be able to look at all time off anytime. Thanks for such a great product.

Pros: Being able to see all employees time off in one area. (calendar)

Cons: I do not have any cons.

"Tracksmart Lives up to its' Title"

Comments: We have been using Tracksmart for the past several years to monitor staff attendance, run reports and post our days off, practitioners being off to alert staff . This is helpful when they wish to request time off and/or see what their schedule will be like. It is very easy, straightforward and accessible to all. It is just as its' name suggests...Tracking done the smart way. Tracksmart

Pros: easy to use

Cons: could allow us to create our own reasons for time off. We do get around that with our remarks in the system though.

"Perfect for a small company"

Comments: We are a small company with 12 employees, but all the legal responsibilities to our employees of a big company. Track Smart helps us manage important work week scheduling, manage hours of employees, coordinate time off communication, keep a record of important HR dates, and many other issues that tend to get lost in the shuffle.

Pros: Ease of use, attractive interface, reporting, calendars for seeing time off

Cons: Would like to have more options than two on time in and time out each day for hourly employees. Wish it would automatically plug in vacation hours.

"Tracksmart Review"

Comments: Really like the program. Like that our employees can submit PTO requests to their supervisors for approval and that they can also track how much PTO they have used and have remaining. allowing employees the ability to track their own time off save our HR department a lot of time. It would be nice if we could delete the time off banks that we do not use. we have been using this system for the last couple of years and our employees seem to really like it , previously we had a manual system using a Excel spreadsheet. this is a real step up.

Pros: employees submit request to supervisors and they can track their own PTO

Cons: Time off banks are not editable

"TrackSmart...a solid investment!"

Pros: I really like the ability to track all of the different leaves that our employees are eligible for. This makes it very easy for me to process the leave information in payroll and gives me the confidence to know that leave balances are accurate.

Cons: There's not really much of anything that I don't like about this software. It provides for what I need.
