Cons:

Everything works just fine, the only cons that I find is to have to access different websites and platforms when I need a support. It would be super nice if the helpdesk was in the same place of the main platform.

Pros:

WorkMotion allows companies to hire employees from over 150 countries without the need to establish a local entity. This expansive reach makes it easier to tap into global talent pools, especially in emerging markets. Navigating the legalities of hiring in different countries can be daunting. WorkMotion excels in ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and employment contracts, reducing the risk of costly legal complications.

Cons:

While the pricing is transparent, it might be on the higher side for smaller companies or startups with tight budgets. However, the value provided often justifies the cost, especially for companies with complex international hiring needs. The pay dates cannot be adjusted to company standards.

With WorkMotion's WorkDirect, you have a serious risk of not actually getting your staff paid

Comments: For two months I have been trying to get staff paid with WorkDirect service. It is not possible to get staff paid so far and I get no response or solution from Workmotion CS team. Their CS would like to however "capture sentiment of our collaboration and align on future goals" but not so critical to get my staff paid.

Pros:

The WorkDirect model is a differentiator why we chose WorkMotion. We use another - more reliable - platform for classical EOR.

Cons:

1. Customer service does not actually help to onboard your staff. If you get contracts signed and all info needed for the staff, they literally do not do anything to help you, they just leave things lie as is. 2. Customer service does not answer at all. Only way to get answers is to escalate. 3. End result, your staff will be not getting paid in time with WorkMotion's WorkDirect (I have not used their other service but considering points 1. and 2. above I will certainly not try them).

However, WorkDirect also requires a higher degree of involvement and effort compared to WorkGlobal/EOR model which allows more flexibility and company branding. Good concept and support

Comments: As mention, we had a start with a few hick-ups but as Workmotion restructured their customer support and internal payroll operations the current cooperation couldn't be better.

Pros:

I believe WorkMotion's concept of providing direct hiring options in other countries is great. It enables companies to hire international employees without relying on third-party providers ore even having their own entity. I appreciate the highly automated process for initial employment contracts and the streamlined, automated monthly payroll. This significantly reduces the workload for the HR operations team.

Cons:

In the first months of the cooperation, support was very slow and hard to reach. This changed significantly after a few months, and therefore, I have nothing negative to mention.

While I do miss having direct communication options for more complex issues, the platform’s strengths far outweigh this minor drawback. Pros:

I’ve been using Workmotion since June 2023, and I’m very pleased with the experience so far. The platform is easy to use and has simplified the management of my international team. One of the most impressive features is the automatic handling of payroll and taxes, which saves a lot of time and effort. The claim process is also seamless and efficient, showing that Workmotion has designed their services with user convenience in mind. Their support for visa documentation is exceptional as well. On top of that, their customer support team is always responsive and helpful, quickly addressing any questions or issues that come up.

Cons:

While Workmotion's support team is responsive and helpful, I would appreciate the option for more direct communication. Currently, support is handled through ticket replies and emails, which can make it challenging to address more complex issues. Being able to speak directly with a support representative via phone or video call would make the support process more personal and effective.

I was hired through Workmotion

Pros:

I got a job at a company without a legal entity in my country. Workmotion stepped in as Employer of Records, and thus facilitates my employment from a legal standpoint. We signed the contract through docusign and the entire process was seamless. I had some change requests to the contract and WorkMotion was happy to approve those. Their customer support is on point and ready to help.

Cons:

Due to legislation in my country, I will not be able to be leased to my de-facto employer for longer than 3 years. Thus, as of right now, Workmotion is only a short term solution.

Uncomplicated remote work and life

Comments: I have my work contract managed through Workmotion as I work for a company in a different country. They are helpful and respond quickly to emails, although I hardly ever need to contact them as they have a self service website as well.

Pros:

Provides an easy to use website where you can see various info such as your leave, your contract, etc.

I do not have any particular issue that stands out. They offer a decent service.

Comments: Workmotion has made incredible progress over the last two years and improved the service enormously. The processes have also become more professional and the responses faster and more accurate.
The vast majority of employee onboardings and offboardings have so far been to our satisfaction.

Pros:

dedicated account manager for operational tasks/questions/problems own entities in most countries open to discuss via call if the ticket cannot be resolved or the case is too complex

Cons:

ticketing system: you need to log in every time and cannot simply reply via email

Confidently Hiring Remotely

Pros:

Customer service is excellent. Swfit assistance and detailed replies. The net salary calculator and tools that allow you to compare tax systems and other important salary components between countries is extremely helpful for us to make informed decisions in our recruitment process and remain transparent with candidates.

Cons:

At first glance, it might not be that easy to identify all the features and utilities that the software has to offer. But this is where customer service comes in handy to provide guidance and workarounds if necessary.

Super easy access to employee data, including payslips. Top-notch Customer Support: they promptly respond to my queries.

Cons:

I'd sometimes appreciate that the payslips were updated more timely and I'd like to get warnings about expected changes in my salary for reasons unrelated to my employer (e.g., when tax regulations change)

Pros:

Been using WorkMotion for almost two years as an employee in Spain. The platform became very useful during this time and always improving. The customer service is always super fast (email only).

Cons:

Sometimes it takes a few back and forths to solve a problem (if you have special tax or document needs) but they are always very helpful.

After everything is set up the service runs very smoothly and both expense handling as well as one-off payments is very effective

Cons:

Comments: The overall experience has been wonderful so far. I feel supported and think that the platform is also easy to understand and navigate. Everything is explained well and if I dont understand something or need help, I can just contact the support team.

Pros:

It was a very smooth onboarding process, if something was missing or unclear I was able to get help qickly from the support. I did not have to wait long to get some answers and the agent was very nice and very helpful. Actually everyone I was in contact with was very quick, nice and helpful.
